You obviously don't know much about the Portuguese league and the miracle Amorim performed. Before COVID, Benfica was dominating Portuguese football with a great team: Grimaldo, Vertonghen, Rafa Silva, Otamendi, Darwin, RUBEN DIAS, Vinicius, Raul Jimenez, and others. Ruben Amorim took over Sporting just and just after the first COVID lockdown, he transformed the team, and led them to first place. For those who don't know, before his successful run, Sporting had only won 2 championships leagues in the last 35 years. You have to understand that for him, this Manchester United team is still far better than what he had back in 2020 with Sporting. He literally had very poor players and no money to buy better ones. He and Hugo Viana worked miracles by identifying and acquiring talented players that others overlooked, and some of them gradually improved. Now, after four years, he has built a solid team that I believe could finish 5th to 8th in the Premier League. So, for all the Brits who think he's in trouble because United's players are underperforming, that's fine for him. They are still 100 times better than what he started with at Sporting, regardless of whether Rashford is inconsistent or if Harry Maguire is considered one of the worst players in the world. He still has many good players to work with. Since he speaks Portuguese and Antony does too, he might be able to guide Antony to stop acting like a typical Brazilian diver and start playing the game. Watching the Sporting front 3 last night made me slightly optimistic knowing we have similar profiles in our current squad, Bruno, Hojlund & Amad as a front 3 could operate in a similar way with Bruno dropping into midfield like Goncalves did in this game when necessary, keep all 3 players fit and I believe Amorim could get them to click as a trio 🤞

Something eth could not. As untied would usually conceded a goal immediately after half time. Eth is a better tactician than Ruben. But Ruben is a better man manager.
