I bought the large cloud clutch and took it to Italy with me last month. The leather held up beautifully and I was not gentle. Love that it can fit a pair of sandals after my heels gave me trouble on the cobblestone streets.

I own two bags from them (they are my current favorite alongside with Manu Atelier), I fell in love with the leather choice , the dye is kept natural and minimal which of course makes bags scuff very easily, I wonder if they offer restoration services…

Yed, very natural leathers they use. And artisan leathers react to life very easily. That can be seen as a downside. But overtime they will build a richer look.

I think this is a great choice for a minimalist bag. Personally, the only reason i pay $$$$ for designer pieces is because of the DESIGN. So many bag designs you see in high street trickle down from the runway. Now, if Mansur Gavriel starts making items that aren't too basic and starts to come up with interesting silhouettes, then i think they can be a fantastic alternative to luxury brands.

Personally I hate the stiffness of the Mansur Gavriel bucket bags which makes them awkward to wear and hard to cinch. I liked the leather quality of of the Hera bag, but found the hardware cheap looking and feeling. Also, I have zero understanding for the design choice of not making the cross-body strap adjustable.

I like the brand’s concept of minimal designs using high quality leathers and solid craftsmanship. I’m not a fan of unlined leather bags as I consider a lining to be both functional and a good design element if chosen wisely, but that wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me. I do hope the brand maintains high quality standards and provides excellent customer service. That would put the brand ahead of their competition.

Can you see if you can get any hands on any small leather goods from Delvaux (their bags are very pricey less than Hermes), Its a Belgium brand. I'm interested in the tempete mm styles/also there brillant styles are also very popular.

Hi! I am very curious what would you say about Liebeskind Berlin. They make like 5 collections every year (A LOT 😂) and i hear that 'every respectable german housewife owns at least one LKB bag'. store policy is also very interesting, 'cuz they offer 2 years of warranty for the stitching, zippers and metal parts of the bag. sounds like a good deal. there are crossbodies for 130 (their classic- Mareike, first bag they introduces) but for bigger bags you can pay up to €500.

Mansur Gavriel? The inner plastic coating cracks and peels , and there’s some grey powder that’s in between the leather and the cracked coating. It feels like a health hazard and I’ll never buy it. The outside leather is ok but it will scruff . I’m surprised this is recommended despite how the inner coating disintegrates

Mansur Gavriel harnessed the power by enlisting celebrities. I have their large tote bag, and it is absolute crap. It is completely worn out on the bottom corners. It will have holes soon. It is a ten-year-old bag that has spent the last seven years in the closet.
