I rescued an alocasia black velvet from a target lol! It had one strong leaf left! He's doing great & given me a new beautiful leaf. He has 3 little corms (seeds) in his roots but I've got to look into best way to grow those. Don't want to kill em

Homaigoodness! The best Strawberry Shake ever! Super WOW! 😍😍😍 I really want one with that kind of pink. Usually only found those with tiny bits of pink. Most even have no pink at all.

Many philodendrons do well in lower light situations. Your philos probably require more light because they’re mostly variagated varieties. I use grow lights for most of my plants but I put my philodendron red emerald in my north facing window and put it on a support stake (nothing it could attach to, just support) and never fertilized it and it actually started maturing.

This was great! I have a small philodendron collection. My place is very dark so I have them all under grow lights. You do find advice stating that philodendrons grow well in low light so I was glad to see you state otherwise. You have the biggest baddest love seat sized Phil. squamiferum have ever seen so you must be right.

Haha thank you! They’ll survive in lower light conditions but will grow slowly and decline over time

Although I don't own one my self, my all time favourite Philodendron is P. verrucosum. I just love the weird fuzzy petioles and the red on the undersides of the leaves.

No it just has an attached drip tray. It was from target but they only have them available spring/summer
