Use Bannerlord Tweaks mod to adjust unit limit

Bannerlord Tweaks lets you increase the battle size to 1500 (possibly more with manual tweaking of files). BTW, the most realistic seeming battle setup I found is with the Drastic Battle mod.

You should use Roman tactics and split your legionaries in at least 3 groups forming square with gaps between each square.That way you can order em to charge flanks,surround etc. when enemies fill those gaps and turn backs to one of squares.

In bannerlord sadly every 1 type army is count as 1 group

There is actually a command as “Transfer” f5 i think. If you choose your archers and transfer them it opens up a tab to choose which unit you want to put them in, like infantry cavalry or such.

Im constantly slaughtering army's 2000+ with no casualties, using just 250 eagle legionary's in square and just the rest cav. Honestly makes the mod a little boring, im just waiting for a realistic battle mod patch for it so i can continue playing it because its one of the best troop conversions ive seen yet.

I feel like the infantry should be attacking cuz their bound to defend and hold position and not fight back dude to they'll just hit their teammates own shield. Idk if it's just me but in vanilla I would put my empire legionaries into shield wall and they'd destroy other enemy infantry along with my crossbowmen and cavalry causing great damage. I think square prevents the infantry from attacking. If it's shield wall they'd definitely be attacking and trying to keep the formation. I'd say instead of square. Use circle or V formation.

A big tactics the Roman's used was swapping out tired and wounded soldiers with fresh ones from rows back. I don't know how much of an effect that would have on Bannerlord combat but it would be interesting to see.

Why the barbarians are idiots? A group of barbarians are attacking to roman infantries, but another group is waiting in the water 😅 Why they are waiting? Are they waiting to death 😂 Why the barbarians thinking the roman archers are the allies 🤔 I think AI is not good enought 🤷🏻‍♂️
