I'm probably among your oldest fans. When I was a wee lad, there was a "fire extinguisher" hung on wall near the cook stove, that was just a big sprinkler full of baking soda. Very large holes in top. Perfect for putting out a grease fire on the stove. Any sort of pressurized device risks spreading flaming grease.
