What is the Horse Pushy trick meant to be for anyway? Does it somehow set some values in memory for a later trick?

In that minigame, all your items are disabled except for Ocarina. If you leave Lon Lon while the minigame is still active, the timer will run out but it wouldn't reset your items. In the boss room, you can't use ocarina, but if you have the minigame state, you can use it. So you use horsepush to escape the minigame and then use the ocarina for the wrong warp.

@@VinsCool basically, the horse heads push link away. By pausing repeatedly, this push is multiplied and that way, the jump is extended. The angle is so that he can, at Max Horse Push, just barely get onto that ledge and get out of the game.

@@VinsCool The trick works by duping the colider (the thing that pushes link) on the horses head, there's a max limit before no noticeable change occurs (I think it's like 16 or something). If another horse gets on screen, then the coliders will be duped between the both, and therefore push link less far. So the horse has to be in a position that no other horses are on screen and the push goes to the bit that you can ledge grab. If you've ever seen him reset when the other horse runs on screen, that's why. There's one of his research streams when he was making the (original) setup where he has the sky turn a different color if epona/another box is loaded. He explains it better there.

Odd question just for the fun of it, does that forest escape with the rock work on ver 1.1? if so does it work on English ver 1.1? as sometimes Japanese ver 1.1 and English 1.1 has differences. It's fun seeing tricks that I know i have not shown my sister yet as I used to do all sorts of tricks and clips as a kid that i don't remember how to do these days and my sister would always be like "How did you get here?". We even did early gerudo once by using a cucco jumping over the gate by accident and only once as we did not know what we did in the first place. Like I used to just mess around with the game not actually try to beat it as I did not know what to do so i just did what any little kid did had fun breaking games getting ontop of stuff i was not supposed to in game just because i was stubbornly persistent saying "ima do it". I miss the good ol simple days honestly where one could just enjoy life instead of worrying about adult stuff

Cant say that running ads manually is difinitively better. With prerolls, you get 30-45 seconds of ads and can watch the rest of the stream without. With manual ads, its a minimum of 3 minutes PER HOUR. 12 minutes of ads for a 4 hour stream instead of 30 seconds. Its a tradeoff, youre counting on people being able to watch the stream immediately bringing in more viewers than 3 minutes if ads later will send away

Alternatively though, pre-rolls is bad for new viewers, who just want to see what the channel is all about without having to wait the 15-60 seconds first. By that point they've already moved on to the next one.

I think it would be just fine for the new hardware to be used since it requires real cartridges and is essentially using beefier chips trained to do what the N64 did. (That's an oversimplification for the sake of the argument.) I'd like for it to be legal so that 1.0 categories don't have to be of lower visual quality when it doesn't have to be.
