My car is 2017 GSF. I put FIGS Ohlins DFV 16/12K on my GSF about 4 years ago. Originally, my setting was 9/14 from the stiffest. Now, I think dampers got a little softer. So, now the setting is 7/12. The tire pressures were 30 psi F&R. (OEM is 36psi) Believe it or not... When I changed my tires from BS S007A to Yokohama V601, the ride became MUCH SMOOTHER. Both S007A and V601 are summer tires but I do expect S007A should provide a little more grip!!! Now, the tire pressures are 33psi F&R but the ride is still way smoother than before!!! (both my wife and I are nearly 60 and both of us drive that car even in long trips since 2017!!!) PS: I also believe changing front softer or rear stiffer could make your car turn more aggressively...(car could become tamer or safer if changing in the other way) I also changed my tires from 255/35R19 & 275/35R19 to 275/35R19 & 285/35R19 to increase the tires side walls(comfort) and width(performance)!!! The new tire sizes also increase tire loading... So, I could lower the tire pressures to increase comfort!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have been thinking about changing my tire pressures for a smoother ride, so this is helpful. Also thanks for sharing your settings and feedback. All that data will help someone out.

I have the same exact setup with rubber top hats. I find it a bit too harsh for street use honestly. I just order softer springs we will see how it goes. They ship with 9kgF and 8kgR. I ordered 7 front and 6 rear

Hey did you end up trying the softer springs? Curious how you like them, the stock spring rates also seem to stiff for me

I have this same set up but on my 300zx and I too find it way too harsh for the street. I went down to 7/6kgmm and then 6/5kgmm (I have alot of springs at home) and it was just too stiff... I mean is great doing high speed stuff and on the track but for the street it's not very nice. It's not the springs its the shocks valving is too over damped, I've sent it off to get it reshimmed and it was way better but still not where I want it.

Made a bit easy. I have an RWD car and then it is about rear to front ration also, for traction in the rear. So softer in the rear and it balances out a bit better with stiffer in the front, like ohlins recomends it. I made that error myself and a more experienced friend pointed it out, after adjusting it up like 2 clicks more in the front relative to the rear it was a world of difference.

@@PSA955 no worries, always start from Soft, then adjust to your liking from there. No one starts from Hard
