I think the pointis well and truly made that the lithium battery is fantastic. What about induction cooking, running a fridge and a couple of camp lights camping for two days. Will the battery cope?

Absolutely it will! We ran a dual zone fridge for 17 days (and nights) with our 300Ah Lithium without charging it! It was sitting on the back deck the whole time - copping that afternoon sun! Cheers, Cahn

How many watts and amps does that coffee maker pull? I tried to run my coffee maker using six deep cycle 6volt batteries connected in parallel and series with a 3500 watt inverter and it wasn’t enough power.

Hi there, I've had to do some digging as it's disappeared into the Aether somewhere, and their site doesn't have the specs for them, as we know it was the Piccolo Black Coffee Capsule Machine, from memory it's looking at around 1090w continuous draw. Regards, Andrew

Hi there, While it can depend somewhat on which unit you're powering, however a 200A Lithium battery, 200w solar blanket and premium MPPT would set you up with a solid basis that you can also power most set ups from. Regards, Andrew

I thought I calculated my solar system correctly but I was way off. I have a 12v 150 Ah lithium battery with a 24V 250w solar panel that powers a fridge and some small extras including a 300w inverter. I'm always at 90-100% SOC which I heard is bad for the battery? Should I limit the charging or disable charging completely every now and then? If I disable charging from the victron app, does that damage the solar panel? I know that the cells in the battery balance themselves at around 100% SOC but as long as I keep track of them, can I keep the battery around 50-80% (by limiting charging or shutting down the charging completely every now and then)?

What battery chemistry? If it's AGM 90 to 100% is good! If it's lithium you could/should be able to adjust the final charging voltages (and float voltage) and reconnect voltage This means the charger won't charge as high, and will let the battery cycle lower before starting to charge again. It's worth taking a look at the manual and seeing what's possible. Cheers, Cahn

Hey Cahn quick tech support question. I have just purchased a new ALDI coffee pod machine and it says it's rated at 1445W I tried using this while away last week camping for 4 days. We got this one from Woolies - "Cafe Aurora Piccolo". It draws about 1100W from memory so ideal for a 1500W Inverter! We've also used a Pod machine from Aldi with good results and even Nespresso ones work! Just check they're less than 1500W! Cheers, Cahn

Hi Team, I know this is an old video - but i am after a bit of advice. I purchased 2 x 100ah kings lithium batteries (max continuous discharge is 100A each) which i plan to run in parallel through the 1500w inverter. Am i correct in thinking that if in parallel the voltage stays the same (e.g. 12v) - but the total max continuous discharge should double to 200A?? therefore comfortable powering the 1500w inverter? Hi there, Unfortunately we have not been advised how many watts the machine is. The 1500w inverter will run a machine that is below this wattage rating.
