Nice to see we got the same results on some paths (like #282 and #94 being 1 day long), but most lengths ended up being different. D: The primary cause is me interpreting Westopolis' red sky as evening instead of daytime, meaning any following levels/cutscenes with blue sky would have to happen on the next day. By the way, one thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is a cutscene that plays after any second stage, the one where President says that "the United Federation will never surrender to terrorists". The problem is that this cutscene features a very red sky (not "Black Arms" red, but "Morning/Evening" red). This ends up making paths with Glyphic Canyon a lot longer (Taking path #135 as an example: Daytime -> Evening in Westopolis -> Daytime in Glyphic Canyon -> Evening in that cutscene -> Daytime before Cryptic Castle -> Evening in Cryptic Castle -> Daytime in Sky Troops, etc. (that's 3 whole days already)) Oh, and to further answer your question about if any paths take place across 3 days, I have some data to share from my own video (that I miraculously finished in time, just a few hours ago) 3.5 Days - 8 Paths (2.4%) 3.25 Days - 8 Paths (2.4%) 3 Days - 18 Paths (5.5%) 2.5 Days - 26 Paths (7.9%) 2.25 Days - 28 Paths (8.6%) 2 Days - 128 Paths (39.6%) 1.5 Days - 22 Paths (6.7%) 1.25 Days - 20 Paths (6.1%) 1 Day - 68 Paths (20.8%) If you're wondering how I got 3.5 days for some paths, let me show the process using Path #95 - NDDDD(D). *Day 1 starts* -> Daytime -> Evening in Westopolis -> *Day 2 starts* -> Daytime in Glyphic Canyon -> Evening -> *Day 3 starts* -> Daytime before Cryptic Castle -> Evening in Cryptic Castle -> Night before Central City -> *Day 4 starts* -> Morning in Central City -> Night in GUN Fortress (if counting night as being 0.5 days from daytime) ...Having said all that, I really enjoyed your take on this idea. Seeing well-made videos on this game is always a treat! Thank you for your work.

I gotta disagree with your stance on The Doom's intro cutscene - the one that has the red sky directly follows off of Cryptic Castle, the stage where the sky is red with a big ol' crescent moon in the background - I think that red sky is meant to indicate that Shadow went here shortly after the events of the Neutral mission to think about what he's found so far.

Awesome! 😃👍 I STILL want them to make a remake of this game though! ;) Keep the many different pathways and 10 non canon endings, yes! But I want them all to be optional not mandatory! To fix the story, I just want Shadow to play all the levels from top to bottom maybe with brand new cutscenes showing you how he go there! He only fights all the primary bosses near the end and secondary bosses ONCE! He gets the remaining six chaos emeralds in the last six levels! Oh yeah! I want a new non canon ending where Shadow sides with Eggman and fights Sonic and Diablon after doing Lava Shelter’s dark mission! Do you guys like my ideas to fix this game?! 😃

It was the great Clement’s! ;) I remember him saying that when I saw his play through many years ago! ;) You can STILL have the option to see the normal dark non canon ending if you want to! What about my other ideas to fix this mess of a game? Do you like them? No way is SonicXShadow Generations gonna do it! That’s a different kettle of fish altogether, right?

@@mrwizzardknight Not sure about other ideas, honestly. I grew to love Shadow the Hedgehog's fractured story and its asinine path system, though I'd imagine a more normal Sonic fan would like these changes. And about SonicxShadow Generations... yeah, no idea what that game is trying to do. I fear it might retcon a bunch of stuff from Shadow the Hedgehog, make the character more one-dimensional and misuse Black Doom, which would suck. However, I'd love if Sonic Team proves me wrong.
