I did badly. I could link faces of the singer with the band, but remembering majority of names of the singers was difficult.

There's a female metal singer from a country you'd never expect: Madagascar. Don't remember her name, or the name of the band though.

Still referring to Tarja and Anette only as ex-Nightwish is pretty weird after so many years. Both have since gone on to have other music careers.

Did I miss Brittney? She easily fits into level one and should take Anette Olzon's place who has been miscategorised as a "metal" singer. She simply isn't. Would also add Zora tt 2nd level. Some of the singers on display here have done & are doing metal, but they really transcend genres. Case in point: the all time great Anneke van Giersbergen. Cheers!

Wow, are you kidding me? 😂 Anette Olzon is a total powerhouse! Her time with Nightwish, especially on the best-selling albums "Dark Passion Play" and "Imaginaerum," is legendary, and music videos with her are breaking records on KZbin. She's graced nearly 300 metal stages worldwide, and she defies stereotypes by proving that a metal singer does need the traditional opera-style voice to rock it. Her new project, The Dark Element, is an absolute banger of a metal album. 🤘

@@EleneKaxidze A bit strange to say " a metal singer does need the traditional opera-style voice to rock it". Opera voice is opera not metal. A rock/metal voice should have some "raspyness"at times,don't get that from Annette(also not Tarja),but,i think she does very well with her solo stuff and she,indeed,made a good album. I know, there are many metal genres,but metal in general , need some heavy voice,in that sence Annette is more compared to Amy Lee,good voices,but not really metal for a lot of metal fan's. The music might be metal,but that's different to say that a voice is also metal. About; "The most sold", I/we don't know exactly years later,for instance the dvd "Showtime/Storytime"live at Wacken 2013,can't find any numbers till now how much is sold,but if i have to guess,i think,a lot. With albums i can agree what you said ,but albums are still sold/selling and i don't know if there are updates on selling numbers, i can imagine they all went up. Besides that;times have changed because of the internet (downloading),so comparing sales now wirh 20 years ago is almost impossible.😉🤘

I instantly recognised Cristina Scabbia, Tatiana Shmayluk, and Angela Gossow. My favourite metal vocalists. No idea about any of the others -but I vaguely recognised various names.

Easy - all of them Medium - all of them except for #30 and #33 Hard - all of them except for #48 Way better than I expected lol, especially since I haven't heard to a lot of these in aaaaages.

Whoa! I would've rated Aline Happ - Lyria as medium myself, but she didn't make it to hard. So sad. Another honourable mention could've been Ida Elena DeRazza - Bare Infinity
