Great list! In those five categories, designer-wise already have the Professional, the Black Tie, and Special Occassion options. For Casual and Romantic Date categories I have other fragrances, but adding those to my must-smell list.

I'm thinking you need about 16 for the perfect collection. Four seasons: Spring, summer, fall, winter. Then for each season; casual everyday, formal, work. For some probably also day and night (probably under the every day scents so +2) and then a signature scent and date/ special occassions to factor in (+ another 2).

Overkill. Fragrances that only can/should be worn for one specific scenario or occasion, is a total waste of $$$. Purchasing 16 different fragrances for many people, won't even fit their budget...that is, if they even HAVE a budget.

@@Kman. true for most people 2-4 fragrances will fit the bill. For someone who is an enthusiast (but not a collector) I still think 16 works to build a 'perfect collection' (which was the theme of the video) - fyi they don't have to be $100+ fragrances .. there are some decent bang for bucks out there that will fill some of these roles ... and of course they don't have to be purchased all at once. A collector will have many more of course.

D&G Pour Homme is one of my all time favorites, too. I was fortunate to grab a brand new MI Italy 75ml for like $75 a couple months back off the marketplace. I had been babying the remaining 9mls I had in my original bottle for quite some time now lol

My collection keeps growing, but slower since I stopped blind-buying. I have a list and pick them up when they're on a deal. A decent sized collection can lead to feeling paralysed when trying to choose so I pick out 5 or six at the start of the week and just wear those, then swap at the end of the week. Really helped with my addiction!

Although I have more, I think you could get by with 20-25 total. You can cover all the bases, with a few extra to spare.

Just like smartphones & other trendy "necessities" that continue to get introduced to the buying public that are always, the new & improved, the greatest, the best to date, new packaging, new formula, new this/that, etc...can be said of fragrances. People _RUSH_ to get that new introduction, *reGARdless* just to say they've got it! You mentioned Givenchy @ the beginning...the "ORIGINAL" Givenchy and other scents that have stood the test of time where they've become "classics", shouldn't be overlooked.

Normal, ambient room light is fine. Too many people go completely overboard and store their fragrances in a dark refrigerator. Lol. That's as nutty , unnecessary and overboard as the COVID response in the past year and 4 months.

When you say rock moss i think Jeremy Fragrance......That is what i want Max...Daring bold different Fragrances....I love to wear daring stuff...That is the only way...I pretty much dislike Sauvage....Bleu Chanel....All them Fragrances that we here everyday I hate...everyone...I like Italian Cypress Moss Breches...Oud wood Intense! L Homme ideal Guerlain....Hugo Boss Oud saffron....Them kinds....I need Different stuff...Or no Purchase....Im very surprised i did not here about Wet stone Bye Amouroud....I thought you loved that one and maybe you just didn't put that in....Majda Bottle is kick ass! @@MaxForti Say i do like the Layton a lot...Good stuff...But i just got a sample of the Fragrance called Master x Master...Holy shit is this awesome...You need to get a sample of this...The notes open with bergamot and peppery feesia...the heart is red current and fresh rhubarb that grows in the heart with blooms of rich peony bells of muguet and corona of magnolia Japonais the misty base is rendered through an accord of white musk and cashmeran accented with a kiss of vanilla...wow is this nice stuff....And i am picky....Max i am serious i think you would love this....And its made bye Monets Palette
