Honestly I’m guessing other people feel the same, but I’m happy with any type of content since I normally crochet while I watch your videos. You could have just a video of what you could think of at “boring” and I still would watch the entire video. I just love your content and as I’m crocheting 221 squares for a blanket, I am watching a lot of KZbin.

@Geneva_Skye9 ай бұрын
Did she post how she makes them? I’m struggling 😢
@EventualKnits9 ай бұрын
@@Geneva_Skye the way I do it (it varies from skein to skein honestly) is adjust my gauge based on the color. I use a J/6mm. For example: 1. the first color ALWAYS has a tonnn extra. So I make my magic circle much higher up. (DC3, ch1)x4 If I have any extra I just slip stitch until the next color. Color 2, again verrrrry loose gauge. This time I chain one between the clusters on the corners. Again, if extra (usually only a stitch or two), sl st until the color change. Color 3 I tend to need regular gauge. Colors 4 and 5 I just need to tighten up, with 5 usually requiring a pretty tight gauge and is the one I’m mostly likely needing to rip back a bit. I think Kelsey is a much more skilled crocheter (I’m much more of a knitter) so she might have a different strategy, but it totally works for me!

I think it would be cute to make a throw blanket to keep on the back of your chair in your office. With 42, you could do 6x7. Find a purple color that is close to that light purple that is in all of the squares to stitch them all together and put a border on it. It's simple, sure, but it would be a satisfying to see all of them together like that!

I love these videos where you just make stuff, whether your counting or not, when you just make and tell us about your day and what your doing, I usually watch them while doing homework or crafting or while I eat dinner as they are so calming and feels like I know you. I want to find crochet friends like yours someday, im trying to "brainwash" my friends into crafting. one friend asked me to teach her how to knit a scarf, she wanted to make the one from doctor who, and them like 3 weeks after she was talking with a teacher saying she had no hobbies and I said " I gave you one!" and everyone laughed, I love spreading the craft love. anyway, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you posting as much as you do. ive been trying to think of things you could do more of the "how many ... in one day" concepts and haven't come up with anything you haven't done already that are smaller and faster to make. however you have inspired me with the bandana video, I want to sell at little craft fairs this summer and I feel they would be a good stock item for the summer, so I have made 6 in the last 3 days in my free time. thank you for your constant inspiration. 💕

I know you said you don’t like making blankets (which is completely understandable), but if you made all the skeins with the white color as the background into squares and did continuous join-as-you-go with a separate skein of white yarn, you could have a really pretty blanket that would work up a lot quicker than crocheting one the traditional way. Just something to consider. Love your videos regardless!!❤

as someone who currently binge-watches and highly enjoys your content, I absolutely get what you mean saying you're still gonna work with the yarn your way, not necessarily the recommended way. just as a piece of constructive criticism, maybe it would still be worth it to include a small section in future reviews where you also try the recommeded way? I don't think it's about people wanting you to change your style of crocheting, on the contrary, it's super helpful to see how you made this yarn work for you! on the other hand, if it's specifically review content, people will also want to watch your video because they trust your judgement and value your opinion, so maybe doing a rundown of the instructions by the manufacturer and then contrasting them with your own would enhance the quality of your review even more!☺

I was excited to buy the yarn. I bought the soft white amethyst. The soft white wasnt soft white in the second skein. It was a soft lavender. I made 30 granny squares and decided that was enough. I put them together and used a 3rd skein for a border. I gave my daughter-in-law the rest of the skeins, and the granny square afghan. I agree the directions was silly.
