how many hognose should you holdback or buy for your breeding projects?

I got a couple pair I can breed. One pair is leuci x 66% het leuci. If she doesn't prove out, I might be stuck with lots of normals. As a newer keeper thinking about some hobbyist level breeding, I'm having second thoughts on that pair. The other pair would be my first two hognoses and I love them a lot, so I'm reluctant. I'm glad I started relatively small with only five hognoses and have time to really consider things. Good vid... and yeah, I've already been considering I probably need a couple more to have a viable "project".

@@Angry_Hogs you're totally right. I should get one more male! It will be a super arctic something to pair with my new girl, so that all hatchlings will be gorgeous little sneks.

Those are beautiful morphs! Lavender is my favorite . I will be on a hunt for a visual male lavender for my holdbacks :)
