Fun fact: it is impossible to stumble upon across a filled end portal on a random seed. All the seed numbers with filled end portals are outside the range of the seed’s random number generator.

Personally, I would be totally fine if you backed up your worlds every 10 minutes so that you could resume from a few minutes ago if you accidentally pick up an item. You could even edit the video so that no one would have the slightest clue that you did so (but I'd recommend showing some of your failures, because it makes it more exciting when you succeed). I would definitely like to see a video in which you do this locked to easy mode. You could die to replenish your hunger. But please don't attempt this challenge unless you use world backups like I suggested. This was crazy enough with peaceful mode!

To be honest, I feel like doing it in easy mode only isn't as hard as it sounds. You can just go unalive yourself... To get full healt and hunger back. And yeah, you can't respawn whenever you want, but you can use villages for beds. So it would either add some pain or only one more item.

One possible solution to the hunger issue is a bed. Sure you’ll still die a lot, but you can respawn closer to where you died and avoid spending an eternity regaining lost progress

You could also try locate the stronghold and then use the lava to light a portal, it would take much longer to go up and down but you would save on an item if you got a 3-eye portal again.

it is actually possible to stumble across an open end portal that is filled,although when you're breaking the end pillars it would take you about 3708000 seconds(almost 43 days)to just destroy the end pillars which means that its pretty much imposible

I'm pretty sure you only need 2 items, Emeralds and ofc endereyes, in older versions villager could trade emerald into ender eyes needing only 2 items (also yes its TECHNICALLY possible to get all the piller u just gotta break every single obsidian block to get into the crystals), if you are a sane human its going to be 3 because the bucket (basically 11/12 items with a random seed and if the amount of endereyes is 2) so what all the yapping about is that I'm prettu sure you only need emeralds and endereyes to beat the game

Yeah, every individual item matters as far as I'm concerned. And if I was to buy Ender Eyes in an earlier version, I don't know how I could get enough emeralds or unlock the correct trade without buying and selling other items.

the bucket is completely non-required. you can build a portal using only water that spawns close enough to a lava pool that's deep enough through just breaking stone. this has been proven before with other challenge runs, like it all starts with one, which has you spawn in a single biome world set to the void, turning the world into a wasteland with nothing but grass, dirt, stone, deepslate, water, and some lava p much
