Huge congrats on this video mate. I think you were right to focus this 30 day challenge up with bigger experiences to both clear that backlog and achieve some quality platinum's! Gave me a lot to think about when attempting the challenge again, great video! 👌

I Feel you brother, for Example when I started to clean my backlog, I had 10 platinum trophies out of 150 games , and now 4 years later I have 127 platinum trophies out of 179 games, so planning is really important. Great Video My Friend.

This is how I attack my backlog too. Although I do break mine up into classes. I run 1 new game, 1 trophy cleanup, and 1 dlc cleanup. I rotate so that there is no fatigue and things stay fresh. Currently my game line up is Valkyrie Elysium, Team Sonic Racing, Outriders.

This challenge done with bigger games is so much better than just trying to get platinums with hour long games, great video, keep up with the good job

Thanks man! I was worried the challenge would just become boring instead, but that doesn't seem to be the case! 😂

This is a very good video! Especially for a first video. The pacing of the video is very good, I appreciate the fact that you didn't choose to plat easy games like other people have done, it was original because you showed both your general opinion of the game and the platinum journey and it was just very fun to watch all the way through! I hope it was just as fun for you to do this challenge! I honestly hope you will receive more recognition because you deserve it! I wish to see more of you in the future, with even more improvements!

Refreshing to see such a platinum challenge not including shovelware. Keep it going with the content - continue sharing your passion. I've been on the hunt myself since January 1st with real games I actually want to play. I've earnt 19 platinums and all of them are games i'm proud to have on my completion list. Currently working on Elden Ring being number 20. Subbed. For the love of video games!

Trophy ranking is based on a point system. Each game has roughly 1350 points to allocate and gold silver and bronze all have a set value. the fact that death stranding has 63 trophies is the reason they have only 1 gold trophy and 2 silver

Death stranding really is amazing. My favorite game that I’ve played in many years. Was almost disappointed to have platinumed it because I wouldn’t have any more reasons to play. Pumped for DS2.

And I think a lot of people look down on it... - It is another game where you either hate it or love it! I can't wait for DS2. It's gonna be incredible, no doubt!

I honestly love the last of us part 2 and it teaches you in a post apocalyptic world there are no good guys and bad guys, you just think Joel’s the good guy because he’s who you control and connect with but… there’s two sides to every story. And if Joel had allowed Ellie to die for the bigger cause Abbie’s dad would of survived so technically Joel started this issue. Ellie wanted to be the sacrifice but Joel was selfish and let his feelings be more important than the worlds survival. Just to conclude I would of done the same to protect my loved one, but there’s two ways of looking at things is my point.

@footballpicks1851: During the University chapter of part 1, Ellie asks Joel what she thinks that fireflies will do to extract the cure from her. Joel replies that they will probably take some blood and that would be it. She replies that she remembers having jabs at the orphanage and how it hurt and sucked. Neither Joel nor Ellie knew that they were going to kill her by taking her brain, they didn't even ask her first did they? She is 14, just a child, thus her consent is needed. Admittedly she is a child that's had to "grow up" fast in a world wrought with danger, on both sides however, the infected are easily dealt with. At the end of the day, they should have consulted her not just put her out. Also the fact that when you see it from Dr Anderson's POV in the sequel, its only a hunch he is basing it on, and his daughter Abby, is willing to effectively kill a child for their ideology of finding "cure", all on a basis of a hunch not concrete evidence. He doesn't even know if it will work, which I doubt very much it would. I personally think that their world was too far gone anyway for any kind of salvation in the form of some vaccine, the infected aren't the true enemy of the game anyway. From the very beginning with Sarah's death, Naughty Dog were setting the tone and telling you that it isn't the infected human's that are the enemy, its humanity itself. The non infected are the dangerous ones. Do you think Anna, Ellie's mother would have wanted her child sacrificed for mankind ( that isn't exactly worth saving that much anymore, given what both Joel and Ellie experience and encounter on their journey of human life )? Marlene assumes she would be okay with it, but I doubt it, no parent is going to sacrifice their child [ or step child, surrogate child ] for a cure let alone on based on supposition only. Joel never stopped being parent, he may have buried his pain and loss of his daughter in his subconscious, but the instinct remains. That's the reason why he didn't want to get attached to Ellie, although he was already beginning too. Because he couldn't bare to lose someone else that cared for to be taken away from him again. Joel was just doing what any parent would do and protect Ellie, which has been doing throughout the game, even refusing her to carry a weapon [ and this is set in the US where guns are given to 3 year olds ], believing she was too young to carry one, and is also not aware of her background - he learns bits of it on their journey. From danger, in this case Joel doesn't want Ellie to be some guinea pig for a Doctor that's willing to cut a child up for some altruistic ideas, when the Kid hasn't even been asked. The only bit I like were the bits when Ellie remembers Joel teaching her to swim and the moon landing tape present for her I am guessing 17th birthday. I felt that the men in it were either feckless arseholes or disposable I got an anti fatherhood/parenthood off it as well. We know that there are no hero's in Last of Us, plenty of villains of course, but I don't see Joel as villain either, I see him as the Anti-Hero of the piece.
