Now that Josh has dealt with the horrors of the ever present sharks, he's calmed down quite a bit here. Meanwhile, *Subnautica* continues to drive up his thalassophobia paranoia even to this very day. Until he finally takes down the menacing Leviathans and other threats that impede him, I fear he will never truly live without fear in the deep.

i think it's because he has played Subnautica that he has calmed down here. like with all the terrifying shit you have to deal with in that game and the fact that, so far, the worst thing he has to deal with in Raft is sharks he was able to adapt much faster than Subnautica

A great trick with the shark- if you don’t take the head his body doesn’t despawn immediately. His respawn timer doesn’t start until his body disappears, so leaving the head gives you an extra minute or so to work with.

I like that Josh is making cotton going sea crazy when Josh is trying to do end game stuff while there still in the beginning of the game. Cotton is just trying to make the raft bigger to have more room for stuff and Josh is like "Hey scarecrow, smelter, radio and antenna." But I still enjoy the video.

Cotton doesnt want to play this game, and Josh doesnt want to play Subnautica, but we all want a revamped underwater system for Monster Hunter. Maybe Capcom will take inspiration from these two games and create something equally terrible for both Josh and Cotton meanwhile bringing us viewers maximum entertainment: Reaper leviathan style monsters in underwater areas and co-op town/boat building in the next Monster Hunter.

they died 5 times and Josh has provided a chair each time, maybe the chairs are cursed. like that episode of SpongeBob where he has a school assignment that's just write a paper on stop signs and he's tripping out with the evil talking chair telling him to relax and put it off more. only this is life and death, instead of an exercise in futility because SpongeBob will never pass the driving practical anyway. SpongeBob is only deadly behind the wheel... in boating school, he murders a few times in the series, like the guy burried in sand at the beach.

Ok......i prefer subnautica. this one just showcases how the stalling and inability to act in a sensible manner crumbles under pressure (namely: the shark) which leads to a mixture of annoiance and disappointment in me. also: poor cotton^^ your back may break from carrying....but its still not a very successfull carry :P

so here go a few tricks... or rather, building hack, game exploits? dont know, but many of these will help you a lot Each sail give your raft a certain amount of forward momentum in the direction its facing regardles of where in the raft it is put, and a steering wheel automatically make all sails go into one direction, so you can create a satelite raft(s) and put the sails there and the steering wheel near the radio one thing many do is put collection nets on one side of their raft and then a reinforced part to protect the raft itself, since those take a beating it becomes a bit easier to mantain them than to do shark bait, then the collection nets increase to all sides a funny thing many do is the windmill, they create a raft with looooong arms and put nets on each side, then just rotate the raft to collect materials more easily... ok thats a joke that someone actually made
