In Bowser's Kingdom, it is in fact possible to use CRCs to get past all the story moons, including the moon for Topper and Harriet, so you can reach the Mechabroodal arena with no story moons collected. However, this is not actually useful since the fight won't trigger unless you collect every previous story moon.

@noworldrecords8924 Actually, if I could get my hands on a cartridge with the first version of Super Mario Odyssey, it might be possible since you could skip the first story moon in cascade and trigger the madam broodal fight.

You can either do harriet and do early metro with CRC or the wiggler

I realized this after I uploaded this video. Doing the CRC in Metro actually makes more moons available to collect.

@Mario_Player596 but you also need a Story moon to unlock the painting to metro, so doesnt really matter
