A good way to describe how heavy they are, is explain how difficult it is to move them! Stupid cows rubbing on one managed to roll a bale in a ditch. Tractor was a mile's walk away and the ATV would've exploded towing a bale, so my buddies and I decided to push it. Took me and 2 others 5 minutes to push it 2 metres up a 20 degree ditch, and one of us sprained a wrist doing it. 1200Lbs, those bales. Now that I look back, if it had rolled back down the ditch it could've flattened us XD
