Shame there wasn't some vantage point like the hill overlooking NCRCF when the Kings went after the Powder Gangers, with the King gazing down at the place before sending his boys in. Would have been cool to see a similar tableau with Hancock taking in Gunners Plaza before sending the Triggermen in.

Ohohoh this is gonna be a good one. One thing I never understood about Gunners is why this mercenary outfit largely went into battle sporting only military camo flannels. You goofs ever hear of armor?

I mean some gunners were "drafted" can't exactly give your best gear to someone that basically could immediately turn on you out of nowhere or run away with the equipment

The higher leveled, & in this case for the Gunner’s, higher rankings, are the ones with the better equipment. The first ones (just labeled “Gunner”) are new members, the ones labeled as “Captain”, “Commander”, et cetera have **earned** better armor & weapons. Same with the Raiders; the ones called “Survivalist” & “Veteran” are probably older, have more experience with the Raider life, & looted/crafted the best weapons and armor to KEEP them living for as long as they have.

They do wear combat armour, good ones in fact. It's just the low level ones who don't. I'm guessing these videos are made with low-level NPCs.

Only problem is the basement of the gunner base was not covered in this video. That’s the hardest part to clear….

gunners here clearly has better gear and weapons while the triggermen may have DPS advantage due to their submachineguns they were no match against fatman, missiles and assault rifles of the gunners

Yep. And essentially the Triggermen are just cosplaying gangsters more focused on their appearance, compared to the combat hardened gunners.

Actually not really. Submachine Guns deal notoriously terrible damage in this game for some reason. Triggermen have the advantage of numbers...as this video was designed to send in more and more triggermen till they win. What I'm curious about is how many more/less Raiders it'd take to do the same task.

And side note. I really wanna give that Triggerman at 23:35 a name and a mafia style nickname out of respect. Dude, heavily injured, limped across the room surrounded by gunshots and fire for the intent and purpose of beating someone to death with a bat. Granted he failed, but still you gotta give the guy credit, he went out like a boss

It's a shame this game's battle AI is so broken and random. It's noticeable when playing the game long enough, but this video made it extra apparent with how suicidal the AI can be, running out of cover to shoot out in the open.
