How MAPR Performed in the Response to Hurricane Laura

The 2020 Atlantic hurricane season was truly like no other, with a record 30 named storms causing no shortage of havoc and damage in the Southeastern United States. Of these 30 storms, however, Hurricane Laura was particularly noteworthy, as the storm was tied for the strongest hurricane to hit Louisiana. Laura’s aftermath was yet another opportunity to do what we do best: provide temporary power and HVAC solutions, especially as part of our disaster relief services. This year’s storm response also set records for MAPR, so here’s a breakdown of what we brought to the table for Hurricane Laura relief.
