I didn’t know they still made these. This design technology for sewing machines is over 100 years old! Are they that far behind?

Well, generally speaking this SInger15 designs are really superior to any modern plastic machine. Uhmm I dunno how much quality these machines carry, but if you take new this and any new modern design plastic encased machine - you'll be surprised how powerful the Singer15 is. Mostly these new-old machines will outperform any A-brand heavy duty machine in the range of 200-400$/usd

@@ran2wild370 we have my wife’s great grandmother’s Singer sewing machine that has the foot pedal. We don’t use it but we could I’m sure it still works. It might need cleaning and oiled but it’s in fantastic condition.

These Singer model 15 clones might be 100 years behind but with a little care and oil they will still be stitching clothes 100 years from now. No plastic parts to wear out and break. No built in obsolescence. Similar machines are still made here in India but in regular well organized factories. In fact you can get an Indian made Singer which is very much like the model15.

@@vijayasekarr.7117 Actually it was a surprise to see that Model15 is still manufactured. I started my curiosity in sewing machines only in the beginning of 2024, watching videos about how to repair them and buy second hand. Now I have a few all metal zig-zag machines of 1960/70s design. And one Singer15 machine
