@@sjaakbral83 Vos is even more interdisciplinary: She has been the world champion in Cyclocross (8x), Road Cycling (3x), Track Cycling (2x) and Gravelcycling. As well as winning Olympic Gold Medals in both the roadrace and the track. She is the female cycling GOAT for a reason.

@ wow thats craazy, i dont see enough about female cyclists and am pretty new to the sport as it is. why dont i see more about her?

@ I don't know, maybe because she turns 38 in 3 months and is not at the peak of her powers anymore. She did not ride this years Cyclocross world championship because of injury. She is still really good though (rides for Visma) and in 2024 won The Green jersey in the Tour de France and the Vuelta aswell as Dwars door Vlaanderen and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad among others. She will probably ride some One Day Races and Monuments this year and go for another green jersey and stage wins in a big stage race like the Tour de France, Giro or Vuelta.

again...Marianne Vos holds 8 CX world titles so MvdP needs to surpass that before being called the best...

Marianne Vos is not a male cyclist, so the fact that she has won 8 is completely irrelevant.

She may have more CX World titles, but she's no where near the level of MvdP.........Technically limited, she relies purely on her power to win CX races; MvdP is the full package, and is another level technically. Most successful does not equal greatest.

The competition is not as great for female category as it is in the mens category sorry ! Female cycling has still long way to go and to spread to more countries before it can be slightly compared to men! And I find female cyclist are not great in promoting their own sport! Like support a youtube channel like this one for example??! And this is my opinion!
