Notice that when you are big and live extravagantly, you hear people owing taxes. There's no way MC Hammer is only worth 1.4 mil. But the public knowing that keeps the government looking away. Smartest thing he ever did was changing the facade. The man is quietly rich, which means he learned to turn down the lights.
@rasnya19253 жыл бұрын
I remember when he purchased a 6 million doller home & at the time that was a big deal. Hammer was one of the first entertainers to have a HUGE entourage who performed with him every show that he took care of on & off the stage financially including his brother. When the money was gone they all bounced. Them OAKTOWN 357 girls were the 💩 back then.

Thank you for the info. In my books, he is still THE HAMMER! I'm yet to find one musician who can perform an intricate dance move and rap at the top of their voices like THE HAMMER. He may have blown out all his millions but by God was successful! And how do we measure a man's success? I think he ticked all the boxes in the criteria;- 1. He lived a life many of us can only dream of - larger than life. 2. He is the ARCHITECT of the rap dance Revolution. 3. A collosal entourage - he paid them well. People who worked for him were comfortable - contrast that conglomerates that pay their workers peanuts and keep the rest for themselves. 4. He had a massive financial free-fall (Tom Petty - RIP) and bounced right back - keeping afloat, it could have been worse; doing some menial jobs .. 5. He still makes the world a happy place - we are still dancing to his music My bucket list includes having a signed photo of him on stage ... True genius! My ICON!
