To improve your chase, make sure to focus on using your abilities! Practice using blink in a single training custom match (blinking through walls, pallets, etc). Don’t forget to use your Card Trick to counter looping. And finally, if you’re really struggling with the chase, then take a picture ASAP and hit their photo clone to gain presence instead of being kited. It also slows cipher rush, so it’s very valuable if your chase is weak that game. You’ll improve over time, just takes practice!

Hi! Top 10 Joseph here. The main reason why you use a specific persona is due to the team comp (for example, using Desperate Fight against an Enchantress and Prospector). However, a lot of it is personal preference. I personally use a 12-3 build, but that’s very high risk, high reward. I would recommend a 3-6, which is the most reliable Joseph build. I would go max Berserker and switch points between Rage and Desperate Fight depending on the comp.

Alizer Nox Sure! You may notice in high-tier gameplay, survivors will often say “36” or “9” or “6” in pre-game chat. These numbers correspond to the persona build that they’re using. The numbers tell the direction of the persona build based on the numbers on a clock. For example, 🕒 this clock has hands pointing to 12 and 3. So, if your persona web goes up and to the right, it’s called a 12-3 build. So, when a surv says “36” in chat, it means they have a 3-6 build, meaning Borrowed Time and Tide Turner. If they just say a single digit, like “9” or “6”, the 9 means they are carrying Broken Windows, and the 6 means they’re using Tide Turner. Hope that helps!

I've been using Joseph often, and every time I find a survivor decoding a machine or near one (in the photo world), and there's a camera right next to it, I get a perfect terror shock, I don't hit their copy, but a jumpscare instead, and then hit their copy for presence (this at the beginning of the game of course) It has also worked for me to attack when the photo world ends, in case there is a survivor doing the machine, only worked for me once, but I'm just starting, fufu.

When i have 3-9 + wanted order -> tp to a cipher in photoworld and jumpscare then card trick back to chair :3 idk if it works in higher tier but it works great in low-mid tier. Still need to learn how to infinite teleport w card trick tho cause i suck at it

Practice in a custom to get the teleport trick down! Walk from the 1st location to the second and use your Card Trick. Wait for Joseph to finish his animation fully when he holds his card in front of his face. Wait for a split second, then activate the Card Trick. After he jumps back in time, keep an eye on the cooldown of the Card Trick. You’ll get better at this over time, but activate the Card Trick the INSTANT it comes off cooldown and repeat the process.

whenever i get angry because i lost a match i try and be nice to the survivors by saying things like “gg” and complimenting them, it sometimes help. that or i just take a break playing that character for a bit

For me, theres always something I could’ve done to win that match every time, and I make sure I know where the mistake was made and how to fix it. It sounds cliché, but being able to take a loss and make it into something positive is the most important thing. Use it as a way to improve and recognize your weaknesses than to get upset.

The camera word timer can be seen on the photos under the survivors' names when you activate photo world. The gray frames will go down like sand in an hourglass. Photo world lasts for 60 seconds. Hope this helps ^-^

That mech didn't touch a cipher so she made either had crows before she died (you can see the symbol and hear that sound) or if she was an idiot she jumped a pallet letting the hunter know someone was there. The point is he can see/hear the sound once the photo world ended, and it takes him directly to her.
