I have built it and I have to leave my comment couse I only see people complaining and saying "it doesn't work, worst tutorial ever, you did bad this, u din'd tell this, bla bla bla" If you have 1oz of brain you can build this and it's the best farm you will see for Pumpkin or Melon, just please use your brain, the video might not be perfect but is perfectly understandable and easy to follow, the only thing I dind't got clear was the use of snow, and that isn't even a issue, just place it. To finish, if you can't build the farm, if you reached the max height, if the trapdoor took you 3 hours to place, if water doesn't let you place blocks with the wand, if you had to place the ladders by hand cuz wrong direction, IT'S YOUR FAULT, not the op's. (for anybody curious about the snow, since soul sand is only 7/8ths of a block we use snow layers to match that 7/8ths so that there isn't any awkward stepping up and down as you move through the farm)

I noticed a few comments complaining about your tutorial. I was able to follow it just fine. However, I can understand why it would be hard to follow for some viewers. Your tutorial included a lot of "this" and "that" and jump cuts which can make it a little difficult to follow along without rewinding. It may help to be more specific as you show what you are doing. Tip: If you wanna build the farm on a different axis or direction, place a row of dirt on top of the trapdoors and get on top of it. Then bind your block place to G/H key and hold it. This way you won't place another ladder when you right click on the ladder, because the block its facing towards is occupied with the dirt. Then remove the dirt and place water

it was changed to that since suntzu had an ocd type thing and since it was quicker to not flip the top trapdoors to be it was replaced with iron so you couldnt physically flip them

you should use snow as they can be placed at the same level as the soul sand so you dont get stuck on the block because soul sand is like 1 pixel lower than normal blocks. Also make sure your using snow not snow blocks (3 snow blocks across the top of a crafting grid)

It would depend on your garden level if you wanted to build it like this on 3 plots. Though you could make more lanes and fill the entire plot with the melon farm, this would then only need 3 plots
