Also, I sense a pessimism from your sentences ["cry, don't feel, so lonely"]. Try different methods to add optimistic thinking to your lives to balance your soul, and cleanse your lonely feeling. For me, I watch kids shows for months straight to remind me of good thing in life. However, I am not a relationship therapist, so everything I said is just a suggestion. It's not exactly like women, that androgynistic thinking is what causes us to misunderstand each other on a daily basis. Men grow strong attachments to women through their ego, i.e. men fall in love with women who make love to his/their ego, and women fall in love via, through a man loving her body, this is probably why there are more nerve endings within a woman's skin than a man's (oxytocin)... ex. I was once greeted by a woman, who said I was handsome, and brave, and later she opened up to me about her life, this lead to a strong bond and I never forgot her to this day. perhaps you can say its a combination of vulnerability- (femininity), (which is largely disappearing in women nowadays) and Respect (ego), so really it is mainly just respect, where as for women it is love and adoration/affirmation, but men do not require this (love) as much as women, our fuel is respect and admiration....

I had that question 8 months ago as well and now I am 8 months in an amazing romantic relationship with that friend. He actually took the courage to ask me if I wanted to be more than friends. But what I hadnt thought about when thinking about telling him I liked him was that I could ask about his feelings rather than admit mine, like he did. He basically asked me "Do you see me only as a friend?" I said a firm "No" and asked how he saw me. So I suggest if there are small hints of feelings from his side ask him something like that. If he says that he sees you as friend just play it cool like you were just checking :p

I have a scar on my arm from the night I met my boyfriend. I went to his house for some drinks with a guy friend, this was my first time meeting him too haha, I broke a glass then proceeded to fall on said broken glass and ended up in hospital. The only sober boy there drove himself, my now boyfriend, my friend and I to the hospital so I could get 9 stitches in my arm. The next week I bumped into him at a different party and went home with him that night etc. And before we were even together we had a massive argument and didn’t speak for a week, but when we both came around he said he couldn’t stop thinking about me and I said “well I can’t forget you, I got a scar on my arm from the first night I came to your house 😂” We joke about the whole night and my scar now😂 I told him I was clumsy from the get go, I sure left a solid impression lol 😂 Hopefully the scar is as permanent as he is cause I love him to bits :)
