On the young boys in school topic. When I was in 2nd Grade my teacher told my parents I had ADD. So my dad listen to the teacher she said he is fidgety, won’t concentrate etc. he told the teacher that he’ll take care of it. She thought dad was gonna put me on medication. Dad started making me get up a hour earlier and run laps around the house. His plan was get the energy out of me so I would concentrate better and it worked. By recess time my energy was coming back. Point is thankfully I had a great dad but the school system as it is now sucks

lol!! Literally me with my oldest son, who is currently 8. He came out of the womb super high energy and it’s great!! I intend to help him learn to channel his strengths into positive outlets, like how I really encourage him in athletics and physical exercises like weights/crossfit/running type things along with me. I think my son is normal, and I actually find that he docile zombie boys in public school to be quite strange. I also think there’s something at play with their vaccination status contributing to temperament outcomes within the institution environment. So very many reasons why I feel that we had no choice but to homeschool. I could never sit by and watch feminist ostracize my sweet boys, and condemn the them for being who God made men to be. I would find myself at constant odds and arguing with the he school of if I ever tried to attempt it. So what’s a lot easier? Homeschool! And he spends 90% of every single day running around, knocks out basic foundational school topics with me in an hour, then he’s off to make his own lunch, eat, clean it up, then play some more! And that life just makes more sense to me personally for a good family life! Also the evenings he is an equal contributor to home obligations, unlike all his peers his age who seem to do none. Which is also strange to us!! Ok I’m done rambling. lol

@@officialthomasjamesI heard recently that the schools are only doing 2 15 mins recess breaks for the ENTIRE SCHOOL DAY!! mine was 3-45 min recess breaks!!! And then I heard that they removed nearly all of music and art and also PE!!!!!! That is pure insanity! Those were the only reprieves that kept me sane in school, without those I could have been impossible. I already spent maybe 50% of my schooling in detention and ISS, if I didn’t have those releases it would have been so much worse!

I was raised in the 70's by lefty parents who got divorced (along with so many others then). I have had a terrible life. I am a "loser". And I don't even have the manhood to fix myself. Guys like Nick just depress me and remind me how much I have failed in life and just have to give up on it all. And, no some "magic" old, incoherent book or talking to some imaginary friend isn't going to help me. religion makes no sense to me, didn't get any of that young enough. In other words, divorce does severe, lifetime damage to the kids of divorce. I never had a chance :(

I think it’s antisocial for men to be promiscuous. In smaller communities, men don’t sleep with other mens wives, and they are very family centric. I think living in such a large society allows men to skulk around and sleep with many woman in the shadows. Also take into account, if we didn’t have birth control, they would not be able to do what they do and stay in good standing in any society. I think they use or mistake thier hormonal urges for some kind of primordial human nature, but as social creatures no society would allow such promiscuity in men, Christian or not.

There are different schools of thought when it comes to red pill. I'm sorry, but women take the majority of the blame. Men really have not changed much. You can trace the decline in civilizational functionality from when they started voting. Both should be chaste, but even in the Church, the majority are not chaste. And the society is quite secular so these principles are not common anymore. Destroy marriage, wholesale whoredom, infanticide....this what they truly wanted deep down. Men built the society and after the hard part was done, the women decided that is was time to stop playing house. And the pure disrespect they do this with, it's, well, I expected nothing less. Before that, they were content in pretending to be house wives. That being said, I blame men overall for this.

I had 2 families i knew that were from central minnesota, one with 18 kids the other 21, they both had one thing in-common they were both on welfare, when one of the oldest daughters was pregnant , so was her mother with #21, I found it detestable, and irresponsible. . My sister in-law, was the oldest from a large family , when she got married to my brother over the next year after their marriage her parents' started somewhat harassing them about when she/ they were going to start a family. Eventually she got fed-up with it , and she told the them " I spent my childhood raising your kids ,I don't need any of my own."

I have found through all of my experiences that there are a lot of actual good men out there who genuinely want to do all and be all things for a woman. All they want in return is just love, desire, trust, and respect. They want to be a priority to the woman. But I've also found that a sweeping majority of women who want good men have a very hard time giving them giving those men those very basic fundamental things. And then when the men are in pain because of it, the men are gaslighted, neglected, and psychologically cucked by everyone (both men and women) into believing that they are the problem, when the real problem is the woman not wanting to reciprocate in the relationship or meet his needs. I've seen a vast majority of men suffering needlessly in marriages while being brainwashed to tell themselves to stop having any needs at all, and just give 110% every day to women who don't give a shit about them. Modern women want everything at the expense of men, and they want to give absolutely nothing in return. Some men are like this, and those guys are most to be despised.. But my life experiences have shown me that women by far are the selfish ones in a sweeping majority of relationships these days. They want to be the takers, while the men are the givers. What EVERYONE needs to realize is this simple truth: Marriage is about coming to mutually enthusiastic agreements to joyfully meet each other's needs so that no one suffers at the expense of the other. Thats it. It really is that simple. When you're dating, you effortlessly meet one anothers needs (love, trust, honesty, recreation, attention, safety, openness, affection, sex, emotional connection, shared interests, etc). And this is what motivates you to feel in love with that person and to commit to them. But now we are brainwashed as men that when the love dies out in marriage, we're supposed to suck it up and just keep giving and we're not entitled to anything in return. This is a lie. Both parties need to continuously meet each other's needs, and do it cheerfully. If your spouse has a need that you don't want to meet, then talk about it together and figure out how to make sure the need gets met without you suffering to meet it. Make it as effortless and fun for each other as possible to meet one another's needs and your marriage will flourish. But so many people (women especially) are incredibly selfish and they don't want to do this for the other person. They think that if they don't have a need for something, then they're spouse shouldn't either, so they gaslight the other person by labeling them as "needy" or "controlling" or "narcissistic" or "stuck in their childhood trauma" or any other label so they do not have to meet that need for them. So what ends up happening is we have a tidal wave of imbalanced relationships that are broken because of failed marriage advice that creates needless suffering. There's no point to any relationship if you're suffering at the expense of another.

In case she doesn't do an episode on it, let me just give you the basics. A wife submitting to her husband is only one part of the equation. The husband also has to submit to God. A husband should represent Jesus and a wife should represent the church. Submitting to any man who's just legally your husband is not what it means from a Biblical perspective. Another thing is that the act of submitting to something refers to organizing your life and making decisions around it. So it has nothing to do with taking orders from your husband or anything like that. It means orienting your life around him. For example, if a wife trusts her husband to deal with the finances, she's submitting to him. In that example, there's no sense of dictatorship or slavery, which is often what's perceived by the word "submission" in the context of marriage. So, that's how it works, logically. But it's also true that a woman should submit to God more than she submits to her husband. A man is only worth submitting to if he acts in alignment with God's values and principles. And of course, if you're an atheist, there's no need for any submission. In fact, atheists can only submit to themselves.

@charlesbell5500, Eve's submission to Adam was interwoven in the divine order before the fall. Submission of a woman is an act of God's mercy on her because it means that she is to be protected. But instead modern Christian women love to fight their men for dominance thinking it will make them "feel safer" when all it does is destroy the relationship. They also love to believe that submission is conditional. It isn't. She's called to submit unconditionally just as men are called to love unconditionally. The Bible even says "let your husbands be won over by your godly conduct". Love only precedes submission in the Bible because it reflects the divine order. God > man > woman - that's the hierarchy. Doesn't mean the woman is less significant. It means he's to love and protect and she is to nurture, care, and respect. That's how it was always supposed to be even before the fall. Another interesting aspect about submission is, the woman isn't just "submitting to the man".. She's submitting to the mutual growth and benefit of each other. She's submitting to the relationships highest good. But God knows that marriage is all about two imperfect people coming together and he knows we're not going to do this perfectly. News flash - WE CAN'T. But God promises blessings will follow if we try.

We also have told our kids no dating prior to 18 and when our 19 year old daughter met a young man she really liked, she told him he had to ask permission from us to date our daughter. Our kids have been able to appreciate missing the teenage dating drama phase and we let them blame us when they need to say no to invitations from their peers.

I'm interested in trying the same thing with my daughter, as, being a man myself, I know what high school boys are after. But I also don't want to be super restrictive to the point where it has negative effects on our relationship as a family. Advice?

By hosting parties at your house and being present when your daughter hangs out with her friends is a great way to let her have fun while not crossing any boundaries that you don't like. You don't need to babysit them, just go downstairs while they watch a movie upstairs. Make a rule: guests should not bring any drugs or alcohol. Instead, when they're legal, you provide the alcohol. At least you know it's safe to drink. You don't know what these kids are getting their hands on. Have a good time with the kids, make it fun for them, don't be in the same room all the time, but that's the way. Then, you can know that if your daughter goes to a party that you don't host, she's probably doing bad things. Any boy who wants to make friends with you would be a good man for your daughter because he's serious. Set her up with a good guy.

They think they are defining what a real man is, all the while swearing off long term relationships and marriage, blaming society, government, women, plenty of excuses. My dad, now 64, is still a giant. 6'3" 250lbs. He spent his working life framing houses sometimes by himself. He always went to work. Coached my sports teams, etc. Great dad. Thank you Nick Freitas for being such a positive role model for young men. I also appreciate that they point out that it is also NOT okay for men to sleep around just like it’s not okay for women. It’s so common for men (who have done their fair share of “hookups”) complain or make fun of women who they know have also slept around. For some reason they think that is okay for themselves. My children weren't allowed to date until 16, my daughter is now 24 and just married a wonderful Christian man. My son is 22 and has not had a girlfriend and is still a virgin. Daughter and her new husband were both celibate until marriage. I am very blessed.

A bit of constructive criticism: this podcast was all over the place and does highlight the benefits of marriage but doesn't really explain much else. It would be better if you categorized this chronologically ie How to prepare yourself for marriage What to look for in a spouse How to find a spouse Getting married and moving in together How to raise children How to grow closer during hard times Etc. I really appreciate all your work but this video wasnt particularly captivating to me as a single person.

Haven’t listened yet, but this is a topic dear to my heart. Husbands, love your wife as your own body. Be like Christ in your marriage - the good shepherd, willing to lay down your life for her and the “flock” you create together. Be willing to give all, and then give some more. Pick up your cross daily, and always with the knowledge that it is for eternity that we are working. Love with gentleness and strength. And lead by serving. Wives, if your husbands do this, what is not to obey? What would be the reason - other than pure ego - not to submit and assist and help and nurture and grow? What would be the reason, other than a superficial sense that grass is greener somewhere else, to leave and destroy what he laid down his life to create with you? I like looking at the Christian marriage kind of how Pastor Driscoll describes: God is the head, Husband is the Word/Son, and Wife is the helper/Holy Spirit. She is the power that makes heaven on earth (or hell, if she so chooses). Abusive, neglectful, selfish, harsh, closed off men are not true husbands - no matter what a piece of paper says. And selfish, self-centered, backbiting, bitter, critical, cruel, self-absorbed women are not true wives, no matter what a piece of paper says. In the end, a divorce proof marriage takes 3. The Godhead, the husband, and the wife. Even unbelievers in successful life-long marriages mirror this model.

I am a naive Christian but I do not think the majority or even a minority of girls think that there is toxic masculinity. I think guys need to realize why women have taken more masculine roles in society and have patience for that.

I agree w/everything said in this episode. Really appreciate Nick’s input & advice from a man’s perspective. My husband isn’t a big guy & he’s pretty quite but he’s is very masculine. He is a great protector & provider but most importantly is a Godly man. He knows he’s held to a high standard by God. We are raising young men.. we have no daughters so I’m super interested in the male perspective. Raising men from the mothers perspective is a weird, sometimes heartbreaking but awesome adventure. Totally agree the best thing we can do is give them a good example of a solid marriage. Been married almost 20 yrs. Started dating as teenagers. There’s nothing more attractive than a strong, faithful, God honoring man who’s a present father to his kids. I know without a doubt if somebody tried to harm me in the street my husband would get in front of me without a second thought. Love me some traditional gender roles :)

The solution to marriage is to not get married under government law at all. You can be married by agreement alone or if you want, get married under the Church. Then we sign a custom document to mutually revert to single status (as if we were never together) if someone wants to leave, regardless if there are children or not. That way I can take care of my children without the law intruding. If that isn't enough, I'll jump countries. I never expect a woman to stay. I have low expectations of humans as a default setting.

Wrong. Boys need to be told about how gynocentric our divorce and family courts are. They need to be told that the system actively abuses men and that getting married only contributes to such a system, thus incentivizing further abuse. I love his points on homeschooling little boys! My son is 6 years old and I found that he learns better when he is sitting at a table playing with legos. He's building a million things a minute and it doesn't seem like he's paying attention but he absorbs things so much better. Is Sunday school teacher had been a preschool teacher for over 30 years and she told me that he was such a smart little guy. She said she absolutely loves having him in class and that he's never had any formal education of any sort and only been at home with family and of course the friends in the neighborhood and Friends of the family, it made me feel like we were really making it on our own without the help of public school

I think a lot of teachers would like to be able to make space for individual students needs, but they are overburdened, underpaid, and disrespected by administration. They are leaving in droves. Also, our K-12 education is a joke. If universities didn't cap the amount of foreign students accepted American kids wouldn't even be able to compete. All the exchange students we had, had to take classes two years ahead of their grade. We really need an overhaul.

It comes down to our values. We can't force this on people or there is no escape for the women and children in abusive situations. As a foster mom, divorce is progression for these specific scenarios. It gets kids to safety and adopted when necessary.

The american legal system lacks different regimens for the share of goods in case of divorce. Its not the case in Europe. If you get married with full separation of goods, the only things shared 50/50 would have to be registered in both the spouses names. Otherwise there is no claim. Also anything acquired before the marriage belongs to only one person

I am glad that abortion is talked about. I grew up in California and my parents never thought it was wrong. The school I went to talked about it as birth control. In high-school a catholic girl had 5 abortions. I went up to her mom and asked her why did she let her daughter have the abortions. Is it a sin or not? I was so confused about the topic. At age 23 I became a Christian. I got married and had my first baby and realized that it is bad and killing babies!!! Why are people getting tricked? Why is the world lying to people?!

Let’s start to remember that on the internet anything goes, we all can post what ever we think about any moment in time and it always will be a total mix of arguments which go in plenty of directions with no consistent logic. It might be, and we can all test this on ourselves, …that in general it is not easy to formulate 5 steps of straight realistic logical and emotinally connected thoughts on topics. And we all live through steps of our believes and only by own experience we start to know what is what and how we feel ourselves when we actually experience and go through life’s experiences. Then stuff comes together for us, mostly not any earlier. What could be wise if we look at internet posts and videos is to ask us the question ‘what did the folks posting go through, did they experience either end of a topic or just 1.5 or 1.7… and why might they have the view they present…? And if we want to post something, we can maybe ask ourselves the same qeustion…and when we post something simply be honest about where we are experience wise and ask ourselves if what we think might actually be ‘true’ or …if we might need to reformulate what we intend to post….?
