I started MineCraft in 2010. Back then, it was cool because it was nice and simple. But now it's been taken over by all these kids and alot of *cringey* KZbinrs. Fun fact: Cave game tech test was NOT the first version of Minecraft, as that was made on May 13, 2009. The first ever build has no name, and was made on May 10, 2009, and it is speculated that this build didn't even have textures or physics. No screenshots, videos, or copies of this build were ever released - the only way we know about it is Notch talking about it in IRC chat room during development. Also, the far lands in early infdev was just a big stone wall, and getting anywhere near it would the strobing and deformation of the terrain around you. Just some fascinating things I thought some might wanna know. EDIT: Also, I know that I'm 4 years late, lol.

Some of these facts in this vid were wrong so I will be correcting this. Flowers were added in classic version 0.0.20. The holes in the terrain was removed in pre-classic versions after cave game to make the landscape smoother. The extremely bright green grass was changed to a darker texture in alpha 1.2.0. Smooth lighting was added in beta 1.3. And Biomes were added in alpha 1.2.0. The first version publically released is 0.0.11a. Trees were added in 0.0.14a with a different shape leaves ar the top was 3×3 tree shape was changed in 0.0.15. Lava and water was added in 0.0.12a not 0.0.14a_01

My brother probably played on 0.1, because he was obsessed with video games, and it came out when he was 7. He probably tried to get me to play, even though I was only 3. Remember how you could make weird nether caves outside of the nether with gold, , and cobblestone blocks along with that weird blue and yellow block? 7:57 this is when I first started!!! The biggest update I can remember since I started was horses. I remember not playing for a while and when I came back horses were a thing. I remember horses being the coolest mob ever!! There were definitely world borders. And only one biome and villagers were not a thing. Now I couldn’t imagine Minecraft without any of these features. And the ore block textures were soooooo bad. My brother would make entire houses out of the those awful emerald blocks!!!😬.

i started playing in 2015, 2014, and i just remember my mom downloading it for me (i was super young, like in first or second grade?), then i started playing and my mom just watched me, then went to finish dinner or somethin, then i just got stuck in a roofed forest. then the other thing is short, it was just me building myself into a tree because i was scared the monsters would get me. during the day. i also remember birch trees and i was like, “tHoSe TrEeS aRe So CoOl”

I’ve _had_ Minecraft for all 10 years. But I only first played it on 4/16/2012. Reasons: 1.Minecraft was made on 5/17/2009 while I was made on 6/22/2009 2.I was too young to play Minecraft for it’s first 3 years 3.I couldn’t hold the controller very well (I tried playing it on Pi day 2012 [3/14/2012])
