How mini dachshund reacts when you stop throwing the frisbee

We love to throw a ball or frisbee for our miniature dachshund Mac, but sometimes he gets a bit impatient, if we don't throw it quickly enough (:

@@macdeminidachshund Did you train him not to bark or is that just the way he is? Ours bark so much I’m considering getting a bark collar for them. We’ve tried dog whistles and the electronic sound device, both a physical device and apps I’ve downloaded but they don’t respond to them much if at all. I’m only holding off on the collar because I don’t want to shock them. We got one to try but the nubs that would give the shock are huge and look very uncomfortable just to wear it.

@@S.E.C-R He seems to be less of a barker because he never liked when other dogs would bark. But we did train him a bit - If there was any kind of noise outside, he would go to our apartment door and bark. We used to pick him up and show him the empty apartment hallway, which would usually calm him down. We also tried to use calm voices because if we told him to stop in a louder voice than normal, it would just amp him up more. We hope all goes well with your pups! Doxies definitely seem predisposed to barking 🙂
