Minimalist Wisely copied ORDINARY and went ahead by highlighting ingredients. They saw people were getting lot conscious about Ingredients inside and focused on that. Also their tagline "Hide Nothing" is marketing genius.

I've been struggling from last 7years with pimples, acne and pimples marks. I tried all possible brands I can try that include dermat too. Finally,my friend introduced me to this brand. I purchased the acne prone skincare set ,in just two months my pimples were gone, no more active pimples and acne since last one month. Some people are saying they researched , they brought The ordinary brand in india and mostly their products and formulations little differently , so they just copied a international brand and brought it here

I experienced an acne breakout when I started using their moisturizer, but their salicylic acid face wash has been the best for me. My skin is very sensitive and reacts with acne to most products, but this face wash worked exactly as claimed. Since then, I’ve started using it daily.

No matter the brand, you need to follow some basic strategy while using actives. If you start using an active with a higher percentage, there's a 100% chance that it will worsen your skin. Start with low percentage. But if it doesn't happen with any other brand with the same actives and same percent, then maybe the brand itself didn't suit you and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don’t know how they are disrupting the market but clearly I personally did not like their products at all. I am not at all drugstore user but always open to new one upcoming brands with more sustainable ingredients. I still have one moisturiser which feels like a patty on the skin. I do believe that the marketing done for this has more heights than the products and it’s true value is being overhyped.

They surely have R&D department cause their products are inspired by ordinary but not an exact copy. They made their products suited to indian skin which ordinary isn't. Some products of ordinary is not brown skin friendly but minimalist is. So they researched a lot on formulation which is proved by the loyal customer.
