i am always in awe of glenns ability to bring forward facts, figures, names, dates and all manner of information instantly and without pause. always willing to give great credit when it is due. which is why i value his opinion.

In life, if you want to progress, surround yourself with people who are better than you are so that you can learn from them. If someone is doing something right, try to see if you can bring that to your own life.

I was similarly motivated by the book, The Israel Test by George Gilder.

My father taught me the following: "As a Jew in America you have to work twice as hard to get half as far." While that may have been true in his era, it was not in mine. If you worked twice as hard you did get twice as far.

If you google the worlds best black economists through history Glenn Loury is seldom mentioned - if at all. Still blows my mind
@kevinpurnell94654 жыл бұрын
Why would anyone be googling best black economists, I thought race is supposed to be irrelevant
@clayerkwiltee23154 жыл бұрын
Would you have been satisfied if Lowry was mentioned? Googling the world's best black economist speaks volumes about your self-image and self-worth. You need dig deep, fella because at this stage, you're losing.
@ibrahimabarry89394 жыл бұрын
@@kevinpurnell9465 but race IS relevant. One huge reason Loury is so popular on this channel is because he says the things he does AND because he's black.
@ibrahimabarry89394 жыл бұрын
@@clayerkwiltee2315 I think you're mistaken. I wasn't looking for there to be a black economist and say yes look we can do it too (obviously we can do it ofc!). The idea was that the black economists shown on such lists always tend to lean a certain way politically. Also, I am in no way losing my friend.

Now we know why Glenn subscribes to Israel über alles. He just imbibed the beliefs of his math-smart colleagues. Here's how the Zionists snowed the whole nation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moGTXoylna-FY8k The Occupation of the American Mind documentary Israel's ongoing military occupation of Palestinian territory and repeated invasions of the Gaza strip have triggered a fierce backlash against Israeli policies virtually everywhere in the world -- except the United States. The Occupation of the American Mind takes an eye-opening look at this critical exception, zeroing in on pro-Israel public relations efforts within the U.S.

@@ingridjay2003 Only a supremely bigoted idiot could twist a discussion of Jewish-American economists in the forties and fifties into a diatribe about Gaza.
