He had it in Endgame cause he time-traveled and retrieved it on Asgard when he and Rocket went there to take the Ether out of Jane Foster. Then at the end of Endgame, Steve Rogers took the hammer with him when he time-traveled to return the stones and hammer to where they originally were in the timeline. In Love & Thunder, the hammer is in New Asgard and in pieces, cause Hela had crushed it into pieces in that same spot, in Ragnarok. The hammer that Steve returned in the past, on Asgard, is the same hammer, the one on Asgard is from years in the past prior to Ragnarok events. Thor has to have the hammer on Asgard circa 2013 when he’s there with Jane, in order for Thor to still have the hammer circa 2017 when it gets crushed by Hela in the spot that is now New Asgard, where Jane retrieved the hammer to become Mighty Thor. Understand now?

Am I the only one that notices that Mjolnir was still broken and wasn't really fixed? After all, it now has the ability to break apart and attack several targets at once and reassemble itself. So it's not actually reforged and is still broken. This could be part of the reason why it can't heal Jane's cancer. Jane is essentially doing what kids do all the time, when they play with a broken toy. Just picking up the pieces, putting them back together and pretending like it isn't still broken.

I think the reason why Mjolnir is actually killing her is because Mjolnir gets rid of all the poison in the body so it gets rid of the chemotherapy because it sees it as poison but it doesn't heal the cancer because it is considered part of her, so it allows the cancer to advance unchecked

The reason why mjolnir killed Jane faster was because yes Jane was worthy of lifting the hammer but she was only human and thor said himself in infinity war when star lord asked him “don’t you think we should all have a weapon like that” Thor replies “ your minds would crumble into madness and you’ll die” meaning no mortal can use that type of power without getting killed or seriously injured, since mjolnir and storm breaker were both born at the heart of a dying star, Odin says mjolnir was made the same way in the first thor movie from nidavilier. Now people will ask well captain America lifted the hammer - yes he did but he’s also a super soldier with the serum infused into his system so yes he’s human but he’s 100x stronger.

It would be cool if they introduced the character that actually wields storm breaker instead of replacing that character with a female version of Thor. Just like they should have done planet hulk where the hulk murders wolverines whole family and then wolverine kills the hulk. They already set up that future in falcon and the winter soldier. They will never do the dark side of marvel even though the success of Logan and Deadpool shows that is what a lot of people want.
