It came out later that said minor, CaptainZack, raped nairo (he unconsentually perfomed oral sex on nairo while nairo was sleeping) and would deliberately attempt to do this to others in order to blackmail them. However, the ban was lifted and Nairo has no intention of competing or going to events regardless. He is still banned on twitch so he could go to events but not really show up at them if that makes sense

Also with Sonic spindash stage Spike > back Air, You might actívate bats within which does not snap ledge and you'll die anyways. One of the ONLY times airdodge bats sucks monkey toes. I wonder if mythra's foresight airdodge has the same downside or if only bayo got shafted.

If you hold up on the analog or hold the jump button you will get amount of height and the air dodge will be more than enough to make back on stage you just need to be quick about it.

I actually do this all the time! As a K rool player, literally everyone tries to run of ledge and Bair me to avoid the propeller hitbox. I had to get really good at Teching and just figured out the cheat code myself. If I didn't, I'd just get Bair'd again.

@@joshuaharold6791 it was a while ago, but basically CaptainZack (15 at the time) was in a relationship with Nairo, publicly flirted with him on Twitter and there's also a picture of the 2 of together (specifically Nairo putting his head on Zack's lap and what started the drama is that Nairo slept in a room with Zack at a hotel fora tournament and during that night, Zack went and had oral with Nairo while Nairo was asleep and when it woke Nairo up, he froze and after the act Zack "blackmailed" Nairo into having sex with him again. In other words, a child who obviously was in a relationship with an adult went into a hotel room with him, and apparently assaulted him and blackmailed him into having sex again. There were legal proceedings but Zack never sued so there's no criminal record on that, meaning there was no trial, contrarily to what Nairo defenders might say.

I am used to Melee and Smash 4 where I am pretty sure teching had a lot more invincibility frames, which I don't get why it is not a thing. That is not to say you should be at an advantage when teching, but teching is supposed to save you, not but you in a bad spot. The nairo hate is crazy. There are no heros or villains in that story. Were Nairo and Zack too close before the event? Sure, maybe that's true. Some people would disagree, I'm not one of those as I do think he probably should've kept it more professional/appropriate, but some would and I can understand why. But to say that Nairo was undoubtedly the villain is inane and ignores the ACTUAL nuance in the situation. It's not IMPOSSIBLE for Zack, as the minor, to act maliciously and he did in this instance. He used to be, but was banned from tournaments because of pedo accusations (which weren't even true, and I think the ban might've been lifted but he just decided not to go back to competitive play). Even despite that though, he's still got a really good record in his games against top players like Light, Riddles, TM7-Zap, Cosmos, etc. Not to mention he's one of the only known players to have completed the Ironman challenge, and I think the only one to be known to have done it more than once. That takes insane fundies as well as a general understanding/execution of every single characters individual game plan, and when the game in question has over 80 characters, that's saying a LOT!
