If anyone's to blame, it's Russia that's responsible. Transnistria is Moldovan territory. Russia has NO right to touch its neighbors and or other countries. If Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia/Sakartvelo want to join NATO and or the EU, that's only their choice not Russia's.

Classic neocolonialism: 1) Transnistria (left bank) is supplied with gas by Russian Gazprom via a gas pipeline, but the population does not pay, and the costs fall on the right bank; 2) Transnistria is provided with electricity, which is produced from gas, expenses fall on the right bank…. More than 10 billion dollars of Transnistria's debt is the price that Russia pays to the Transnistrian people for hatred of Moldova and separatism. For a military-political presence on the Dniester, for influencing Moldova and keeping it in the sphere of one’s interests, it is very convenient to manage it without giving it anything.

All of the people here in this video spoke in Romanian language, except those that said they want Putin, those spoke in Russian. Russia is 500+ km away from Moldova, and Romania is their neighbor, they have a border with them. So tell me again, who is the invader here? who is threatening who here? its like France would tell you that they own land in Slovakia, would that be right? or Thailand is owning land in India. Is that fair to you?! Russia is an invader! Their strategy is to put people in other countries then after years to claim territory from those countries just because there are some Russians living there, the same Russians that were put in place there by Russia. They did it in Ukraine, they did it in Georgia, they did it everywhere in the neighboring countries or where they have an interest. It will happen, they gonna attack somehow Moldova, and sooner or later Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia etc.

Very simple... Just look back into Romanian history books... This small republic ( Basarabia, real name) was part of Medieval Principality of Moldova ( from Oriental Carpathians to Dnistre River ) In 1812 Russian Empire mare a deal with Otoman Empire after another military victory in another War ( 1806- 1812) ../ Otomans lost, again and gave up THEIR domination over territories between Prut and Dnistre ( half of Moldova) to Alexander I Tsar of Russia... Before 1812, another loss for Moldova took place in 1775 when Habsburg Empire got Bucovina from Otomans! Another fact... South of Basarabia consisting from 3 counties ( Ismail, Cahul , Bolgrad ) were lost to Russia... Today northern part of Bucovina and those 3 counties are part of Ukraine...So, Only great powers make the games for them Only....

As an American, I'm all for self-determination of different regions. After all, America was once a colony of the British Empire. But, where I'm always skeptical is when there is so much influence by another country. Russia has troops in Transnistria. If the people could have a free vote on whether to be an independent country, that would be one thing. But, I'd never trust such results because of Russian influence. The same goes for the Donbass and Crimes regions of Ukraine. They had referendums, but no one believes the results aren't fraudulent. Likewise with Putin recently being re-elected. His rival was found dead and it's very likely Putin had him killed. And, the election had Putin get nearly every vote despite mass disapproval with the war in Ukraine. This is why I'm far more supportive of Moldova taking back all their territory, just as I support Ukraine taking back their territory. The Russians always call the West "imperialists," yet this is exactly what they are so guilty of.

Serbian leader Dodik in Bosnia is close friends with Putin and Vucic. The EU has so far looked the other way and instead talks sweetly to Dodik and Vucic and gives them financial support of billions of Euros! The EU is shooting itself in the foot without understanding that Putin is closely following how the EU treats Vucic and Dodik, which gives him knowledge of what can await Russia if he does the same as the Serbs on a larger scale.
