in my experience in both pugs and coordinated groups, besides individual player responsibility, the two most common things that will brick a key every time are expectations and carelessness. Every group is like a puzzle and if they do not fit in together the group will disband immediately after one wipe regardless of how severe the wipe is.

I’m actually at the point where dps is the issue for us at 26-27s. We don’t wipe, we pull decent, but we lose out on just a few seconds or 30-60s mostly. We try to pull bigger but it then goes worse, and we can’t do fancy rogue or mage skips cuz we don’t have any 😅 So kinda stopped playing 2 months ago or so just waiting for next season to play a bit in the start again.

I'm often in ideal situation: I think that affixes are solely my responsibility and pug group thinks either. Joking, sometimes I'm just leaving when it is too stressful xD

Yeah, I didn’t to the damage meters on this dungeon during bursting week? You know what else I didn’t do? Die to 6 stacks of bursting because everyone just full zugged AoE instead of focusing down one or two mobs at a time. Doing the mechanics correctly will always trump full dam

I mean 6 stacks is barely half of your health with any defensive

Bursting is tge worstvmwchanic for keys between 14-20 and one of the best for keys above 20 because dps monkeybrain cant most time just kill everything all at once so u pretty good as healer wheres in low.keys people go ham and thinknu priest have massdispell.on 10s cd😂

Yeah I agree, whenever I PUG keys if all levels is just keep the route simple, make sure if I can handle a affix do it, and don’t take any crazy risk moves in PUGS a smoother and slower experience is much enjoyable then a corpse run

Note, i'm not a highend M+ player. I usually play around 10 - 15 keys. I've been in groups where some members are doing the dungeon for the first time and they ask you to tell the important mechanics and those runs usually go well. Then i've been in runs with at least two group memebers with +2k rating at 10 - 15. And a lot of times they don't even bother to try to interrupt chocking vines in everbloom etc... and those runs end up scuffed.

It is funny, but like the more low-high keys I do (20-21) the less I find IO to matter. Had a 2800 IO ret do significantly less than other ret pallys I've had, this is all without the leggo. Likewise, had some groups where people straight up don't do mechanics. Ex: Oakheart, not clearing the roots. As a warrior tank WE SUCK at add management. For whatever reason, our aoe taunt is on a 1.5 min CD.

With the de-fanging of Affixes and the many many nerfs of M+ difficulty that happened over the last few years, most of the time, when a key runs out of time or isn't even finished, it's rarely because of the game's mechanics, and usually because one or more players have seriously messed up - usually because of an attitude problem. I can't count the number of keys that were going just fine before a complete free fall because someone had their head too far up their ass. - A DPS pulling mobs trying to go faster than the Tank's pace. - A Tank chain-pulling or forcing an impractical route because 'It usually works, you guys are just bad.' Instead of adapting to each group's capabilities. - A Healer completely ignoring Afflicted and rage-quitting after blaming the Rogue, DK, Warlock and Warrior for not helping with dispel. - Or the worse, an entire group of completely quiet PUGs in full auto-pilot who don't interrupt, ignore affixes and assume that others will handle mechanics. As someone who play each role on a wide variety of classes, my favourite part of M+ is the Utility unique to each class and how it affects my gameplay. But it seems many people just want to press their core abilities and tunnel-vision to the finish line without having to think or interact with the non-throughput part of their class.

Long time no talk! i've been healing lots of keys on 3 healers. Priest, shaman, and MISTweaver monk (yeah they can exist and are op). I hang up on shaman some. Do you use your baic healing wave at all, or just healing surge? Also, love your UI, what do you use?

Most keys gettin bricked for me this season was someone dying on the first few pulls several times and leave or right before endboss dying to mobs and leave😂

Its always the worst dpsers that believe themselves to be good blaming it on the tank or the healer until one leaves

"No one is going to do the affixed for you" is a bit wrong. Cause cause expansion every affix is a healer affix lol.

I've gotten 0.1% title a bunch of times as tank and theres still A LOT I can improve upon. Nobody plays perfect. Go watch some of the best players pushing rank 1 keys and they still dont play entirely perfectly
