In the Compendium you are talking about Jundies Plater Profile "since it changes the color of a mobs nameplate based on what DoT effects are currently active". I just tested the profile in some m+ and for me it didn't change the nameplates accordingly. Is there anything you have to set up in plater for that feature to work?

@@besmen42 There should be a script or mod for it as far as I know? I don't use it personally, I just know it's used and requested a lot. The Wago profile for it should have a discord link at the top, you could maybe go there and ask about it?

I don't use it personally, but I know it's a very frequent question asked in Dreamgrove and lot of people using it. I could maybe go back and write that part differently.

From a new boomkin player perspective, the rotation segment and opener segment was really confusing, instead of saying all the names of the spells, could we get something more visual, like a picture of spells of the opener? Like you did in the beginning fo the video? I had no idea what orbital strike was and no idea what star lord was, I learned it, but would be nice if there were pictures of the spells or talents when saying the names for new people of the class/spec. Everything else like stat and consumables was prefect. And I did learn how to play boomkin because of the video thanks

I'm a bit confused about Starfall: It doesn't stack at all? If I cast Startfall one after the other - It will do the same amount of damage as casting 1 Starfall at a time?

imagine the starfall buff would not stacc than every starfall you press gives you a new 8 second AOE seperatly. It is just seen as one buff with staccs to reduce the amount of buffs you see

@@Kngkat you are spamming the button as much as possible in AOE situations. Every starfall does damage individually. if you have 3 starfalls running at once they do 3x the damage of 1 starfall.

Druid is a very versatile class which is why I rock two Druid alts. I tend to wing it and that was good enough for me get the cat forms from the Tower during Legion. Though I'm sure that reading up on things would make me a better druid. My two problems are that I'm both lazy and suffer from chronic fatigue which is a bad combo.

Most guides say on 2 targets we should be in solar eclipse, casting wrath. Increased to 3 targets when CA is up. This one however says anything above 1 is lunar window.

Does distance matter when casting convoke? I vaguely remember that casting it from a distance could cast heals, and up close does the bleeds and thrashes. Idk how true that is tho.

Just spam it, there is no any complicated stuff behind it. If we consider starfall alone, no minmaxing our talent starlord, u can just press it as soon as u have AP for it. Stacking or not, as long as u get full value of it(mobs won't die), u can use it however u want, no dmg loss.

Okay, I may be stupid, but I want to clarify that starfall casts do not stack? I have seen a lot of vague/confusing things trying to search online about this to make sure that I should not spam starfall in AOE content. It seems like having multiple instances of starfall up would do more damage and I've looked at a few top dps logs that show starfall cast back to back. So how does the overlap actually work?

Stacking implies that they interact with eachother, but they don’t. You can have as many starfalls up as you want, they are all their individual instances of damage not connected to one another So you want to cast as many as you can on AoE ofc, it’s basically the same as starsurge Its just the word “stacking” that is not quite correct, you can have multiple starfalls up simultaneously though

When you use the word "stacking", it most of the time implies that you can refresh it with another cast. Atm it doesnt work like that. Your starfall wont do 2x damage when you use 2 starfalls. You will have 2 seperate starfalls doing 1x damage. Same thing damage-wise but changing how the timers would work.

When going through mobs, keeping finishers ready - liking opening with the 'full' moon, mushroom, starsurge, moonfire,(they can hit at almost the same time, and apply that slow). And if they have health maybe starsurge (if you got it), sunfire, etc. It's great having the slows built in. Like a 'bring me my loot and die build'. And if it's a group do the two wraths and then starfire, but switch targets to the strongest in health after one or two, wears them down more evenly.

you could run double on use if you play with whirling stars, so you have a 1:30 burst window with 1 stack of CA and transmitter, it's just annoying to use :D might as well run spymaster and changeling and not bother, on paper double on use should be stronger if you use it correctly tho

Sim your talents is must. Lunar is bad for m+. Also for the trinkets this one from mists (red one) is better than arakara. For food the best for m+ is hearty Beledars Bounty.

you start by explaining the spec in the most basic way, and immediately jump to nuances of a single target opener by namedropping hero talent buffs and other CDs. if the goal is to start from basics and build up to a full understanding of moonkin, this jump is definitely a miss. if you are aiming at people who already know what convoke, on-hit buff consumption etc is, then the first part of the guide, especially as you explain what a filler is, isn't needed at all

Now i remember why i rerolled off my beloved boomy at the end of bfa, you need a phd to play it. Still seems like a very awkward to play spec. Put dots, cancel this, precast this, do that, put more dots, then press this and that if this and do damage pack is already deadge. Just play melee boys, press cooldown, mash buttons do damage, DONE.

I think Boomie is the easiest caster class to play. The only thing that sucks is you do almost no damage during movement phases, while mages can still do full rotation.
