I delivered 10,000 lbs military at your warehouse couple years ago. Am with Atlas Continental Fleet now. Where’s your humpstraps? 😂😂 I’m waiting for that MTV cribs series to see the inside of your truck. Got my popcorn ready. BTW, I like that 53 ft double drop Kentucky wagon. You can put some tonnage of that mug. Peace ✌️

I love the humpstrap . I would never hire help if I knew how to use it properly. You can literally move a whole house by yourself with ease using a hump strap .

@@onthemovewithlos I hear you on that idea. The labor ain’t no joke these days. In Atlanta they want $2 per hundred weight plus lunch plus they want part of the customer tip. You have to run a $60,000 -$80,000 monthly line haul to keep up with all the expenses in order to make the same money we took home in the 80s and 90s. I remember my first trip to California from Florida in 1995 was 26,000 lbs 4 shipments with a line haul of $12,000. Fuel was $0.89, labor was $10 per hour. You could barely spend $4,000 for the entire trip and your take home was big $$$ Drivers were living large. Today you need to triple everything to make the same amount because trip expenses are outrageous. If you have a breakdown your screwed. Tires are $650 a pop. I remember when you could buy brand new Michelin’s installed for $200 a piece. We need a bedbugger Union.

@@Dan13Speed I agree . A lot have changed since the good old days . Labor and these large discounts on linehaul . I always say I’m getting out of it , but a real mover can’t go anywhere else . Another job wouldn’t feel the same . I always get the itch to move some furniture . Then I find myself back in the business. I am hopeful we can get a union or something similar . At least to put the money back in the pocket of the people who do the lions share of the work , us , the drivers . You know the old saying” united we stand and divided we going broke” .

I’m starting with Berger/allied soon. I’m going to be a lease a truck. How much did you make your first year and we’re you getting work consistently? Also I want to see if it’s worth leasing a truck. I’m hoping I could make close to 6 figures
