I feel like KZbin used to be a pastime for people, having fun, posting what you want and having a small community that watches you. But now it is all about money partnership with brands, sponsorship. Every video is like an hidden add for a company that sponsored it

It came off shallow too, because even before Mr Beast became the biggest youtuber. KZbin was trending in that direction anyways. The Jake Paul and Rice Gum ad scams, Kids channels controversy, family channels, people just doing vlogs because it was the biggest genre, people doing the biggest gaming trends just to get viral. To act like Mr beast was the reason all this happened comes off more as ignorant more than anything.

Ive never understood why people love mr beast like yeah he makes great videos but have you really paid atention to how that man react to people? ever since the first time i watched him he seemed so ungenuine, yeah he does good deeds but i feel like he does it for the video, you can tell dude dont want to be there. Great video. My only minor issue is how you mentioned you connected to XpertThief because he’s a black guy. I know you’re not judging him solely based on his skin color, but from the way you worded it, it feels like a determining factor on how much you connect to him. My problem with that is that if a white person said they connected to a white KZbinr because they’re white, they would probably get cancelled instantly. I just don’t see why one is ok but the other isn’t, the whole point of equality is that we don’t judge people based on their skin color.

I use to watch Mr Beast when he was up and coming doing silly videos in his youth with his friends and challenges for himself where he listened to a single song for 10 hours for example. It was more wholesome/awkward and interesting. As soon as he started spending crazy money on his videos I completely stopped watching. They became boring and felt like watching cable TV.
