Jason, I have followed you for a while now and really enjoy your energy and enthusiasm. You also are very well versed in all the products that you vlog about. I have been a Canon professional sports and wedding photographer for about 25 years. My third Daughter is a senior at FIT college in New York so I have been going there many times over the last four years. She is graduating this spring and planning on living there for the next couple of years. I decided I would like to try my eye at street photography and videography. After watching one of your videos on the Sony A7SIII I pulled the trigger and bought one along with a Sigma 28-105 2.8 plus the Sigma MC-11 adapter also for my EF Canon mount lenses. However I didn’t realise that the auto focus only works in photo mode with Canon lenses. That is a real let down because I have a large array of really great glass from Canon. The local dealer is giving me 30 days to work with the camera, which I primarily bought for video. My go to Canon cameras for photography are the R3 and 1DX MarkII. I am headed to NY next week and planning on purchasing a few Sony lenses help my endeavor. I am thinking about the Sony ef 35mm f1.4. Any suggestions? I am having a very difficult time wrapping my head around how to video I have had the camera for about 10 days and have only shot about 10 minutes of video. I just can’t seem to figure out how to set it up. I have watched I am sure atleast 20-30 hours of KZbin content but still really dont have a grasp on what to do…
