Awesome video, it’s very relaxing to watch and is going to be helpful for my titration practical assessment tomorrow!

I've been following your videos probably since the beginning. I always smile when I see you've put out a new video. I really like the production quality and the general feel of your videos. You should think about narrating your videos yourself.

A pretty nice video as usual, I watched the others videos and there is nothing to ad, it's nice and clearly explained. I am waiting to see more from you ! Regards

Thank you very much!! I feel that my last videos are quite full of info in aditiom to the experimental parts yeah. Thanks for following me ;)

The endpoint was overshot. A correct phenolphthalein endpoint is a faint pink which fades in 20 or 30 seconds due to absorbtion of CO2 from the air.

Great video! Very detailed and informative. Also, If you don' t already have a video on _back titration,_ think about making one :-)
@Glattuh5 жыл бұрын
I will do it for sure! Maybe some chloride analysis ;)

@@Glattuh I would love a back titration video. That or an application of an EDTA titration.
@Glattuh2 жыл бұрын
@@TyronTention I will make both videos come true! Now I am starting to edit a direct titration but with precipitation instead of acid base equilibrium :D

Yo, your channel is so underrated
@Glattuh5 жыл бұрын
Well, it has to start somewhere hehe. I hope the channel gets bigger and bigger, but the key point is that people likes what they see and, if possible, they share it to other people ;) Thanks for commenting!!!

Was there a reason you needed the waste container? Unless I missed something (which is possible, I kinda skipped around, and I haven't used KHP before), I don't think any of the chemicals involved are poisonous/toxic enough to be considered dangerous (as long as the acids and bases are all neutralized beforehand), and can just be disposed off down the sink. Or did I overlook something?
@Glattuh4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is perfectly safe to dispose in the sink. However with phthalates I am not quite sure. Thats why I keep it. As a chemist myself, I like to reuse everything just like I like to prepare the reagents if possible instead of buying them. On the other hand, some day I can extract them from the waste container, which is very easy and get all the phthalate and phenolphthalein content again ;D

Very educational video! Can I ask what formula was used to calculate M for the last table?
@Glattuh2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! My last upload is another analytical chemistry video, go check it out if you liked this one! The equation used is the same but without the molar mass factor and instead of 100ml a liter so, times ten instead. You can get it by dividing the percentage by 60,01 and multipling by 10

Estaria bien que explicaras una volumetria ñor retroceso, ya que es la que mayor calidad ofrece

Can you do a video making methamphetamine in its anhydrous ammonia form

Nice video ! You should make more video like this. It will be nice if you make a sugar titration by Luff-Schoorl's method, it's very interesting.

So the moral of this is: buy Spanish vinegar if you want to believe the bottle!
@Glattuh5 жыл бұрын
Not really haha. Im from spain so I have to use vinegar from here. Also normative is applied to the same region so... Nevertheless the same process can be applied to other vinegars too of course. Normative may be a little bit different, or not, but the procedure is the same ;)
