For context, a big part of lumras cost comes from the artist. Mitsuhiro Arita is a legendary artist especially in the card game world. Remember base set Charizard and Venusaur? Arita. Him, ken sugimori and keiji kinebuchi basically rendered all of base set and many more cards in the years following. Seeing a special foil treatment of one of his masterpieces can be a big draw for collectors for sure. Same kind of clout as the Castlevania Sorin or the Junji Ito Elesh Norn

Helga is kinda a CEDH card. maybe not tier 1, but tier 1.5 ... does a lot of the kind of loops an Animar deck can. also, she's adorable and I want her. As for season of gathering, it's people's third copy of Rishkar's Expertise/Return of the Wildspeaker that also happens to wipe the artifacts and enchantments.

Generalizing planeswalkers in commander is too hard, it basically comes down to what kind of planeswalker, you either have “threat” planeswalkers that end the game on their own or utility planeswalkers that only generate linear value or provide specific synergy, so commander players jam utility and synergy planeswalkers wherever they can fit them, and their non threatening nature means they’re not under fire the moment they hit the table, because it’s generally not worth making an enemy of the player with the janky planeswalker

I opened the raised foil anime chatterfang kinda wanna trade it in for some high power commander cards like dockside extortionist, teferis protection etc. but the raised foil is also pretty sick flex to use as a commander lol. I also think manifold mouse may go up in price depending on if a mouse aggro deck is viable in standard, its like a 50c rare right now.

1800 sq ft. It's not huge, roofs are just crazy expensive. This was the lowest of 4 estimates

The state of georgia has a program where if you live in an economically depressed area (I do), the state will loan you 15k towards a down payment if you're a first-time homebuyer. If you make it five years in your home, that loan becomes a grant. Best believed I jumped on that. Best part is we've only got a couple of months left until we hit that 5-year mark. But yeah long story short I didn't have any money when I bought the house and I still don't lol
