Love I gave a range and thats including how much I paid. I work in the beauty industry so yes I find it rude if the prices vary. But if someone is giving you a range know that the amount they paid is in that range love. Also, please don’t compare me to other youtubers because what you see is what you get. If you’ve watched my videos you would know that I’m probably the most transparent person out there. I appreciate you watching 😘 Furthermore, everyone has a right to their own opinion.

I recently did my own Perm loc extensions. I have no regrets at all. What i would have regretted was paying over $1200 for something I could do myself. Althought Im not judging anybody! Please dont read that wrong.

Lia Marielle I am definitely looking at doing my own so I understand. I would take off just to do these . The locs itself would cost about $500 altogether so it’s worth it to me . I feel the same way you do . My daughter has sister locs and I wanted to join the loc family with her .I maintain her locs so I’m sure I can do these .

Lia Marielle Same here! I bought the hair from Macon Styles (3 yrs ago) and made them myself then installed them myself. So I only paid for the hair and I did a fantastic job! Easy peasy and no $50 consult either! Lol I’m a low key Loctician studying to take my state board Cosmetology exams. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Great video!

lol they usually charge loc extensions by length. Normally you get 10 per bundle starting at $30-$40 3-6in , $40-$70 6-8in , $70-$100 8-12in. Also the different types or colored locs and some places charge for texture. Installing locs range between $300-$700 depending on how many locs you have. But you come out cheaper installing them yourself you take the time to learn

I recently got lox extensions in NYC.... after doing research. It came out easier for me to just go with someone who already had the hair. I found when trying to buy my own locs it became way too expensive. I’m happy with who I choose and using her extensions.

I did my own, as in i made my own locs with 100% human hair and installed them 😊 definitely took a while but it was worth it...I love them p.s I instant locd my own hair with a crochet needle first though.

I don’t mind paying for it at all, I’m just trying to convince myself to actually do it lol. The permanence of it is a lil scary. I have ~10-12 inches of hair now, so if I get them, I would want them at least down the middle of my back within a year of installation.

It would be a cold snowing day in Florida before I pay that amount of money over hair. My house and car had better be paid off. I better have at least 6 month of emergency money saved. My 401retirement account better be at 20%..... I can go on and on. My hair is not my life style. My locks are butt length and they were....Free, Free, Free. That’s investment money. Loc extensions are a luxury. They aren't a necessity like food and water. Unfortunately you have to pay for that. The best thing to do is find a friend you trust. Y'all learn how to do it and save your coins.

Hey love, Synthetic hair is more of a temporary use. If your adding extensions on your hair you don’t want it to be synthetic because you wouldn’t be able to do much with it for long.

I won't say that my lock journey is a spiritual one but I understand why some people say it is one. Most people hate the short awkward phase and that's what keeps people from going for it...its a testament to your patience and confidence if you can get through it. How i was able to do it was 1. Not care what others think 2. If I was having a bad hair day, I OWNED it and carried myself like it was done on purpose 🤣🤣🤣 people seem to be less critical when you are or seem confident.
