Concerning? Minjae Kim came from Seria A title winner Napoli after an incredible year. De Ligt is....when not plagued by injuries....a elite center back. The issues are incredible bad luck concerning injuries....Kim and his military service....and the lack of elite German center backs. Antonio Rüdiger plays at Real Madrid.... Jonathan Tah at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. And Niklas Süle never reached the world class level as many thought he could/would. So what is the Club to do? Stanisic is returning from Bayer 04 Leverkusen.A defensive all-rounder who can play multiple positions. We definitely need a interceptor infront of the center backs. A classic defensive 6. Konrad Laimar is rather a defensive holding midfielder.... Goretzka a box to box 8 that plays the best when utilized offensively....and Joshua Kimmich is another holding midfielder that should have complete freedom. Meaning....we do not have a Javi Martinez type that intercepts counter attacks, assists the center backs when under pressure and undermines central attacking midfielders via aggressive pressing and man marking. It would be nice to have a German national like Antonio Rüdiger...but theres no other options available....so money has to be spent on foreign center backs.

Bayerns Centre-Backs always struggle. their style of play leaves them vulnerable at times. Alaba ang boateng conceded a lot and now de ligt and kim also. Dante from brazil was terrible so was raphina. Hummels too made mistakes. This is just prone players no matter their who they are or their price tag
