I just feel like Cole is poised to kill it this upcoming season. He knows he's healthy and he's gotten better, the slip toward the end of last season notwithstanding. I'm hoping he'll sign and earn a big bump when his numbers reflect his potential. He's ready this season. (Give him minutes!) I love John's perspective. It was a bit of a leading question, but John Lu points out that the whole team was unprepared for Colorado hitting the gas, not just Hellebuyck. The quality of chances were stunning. The high danger chances were left and right because the Avalanche were left and right, and the whole Jets team struggled to catch up. That tracks with what Helle said about playing the best hockey of his life, and it tracks with what the team's been saying about growing that little bit more to push deeper into the PO. Go Jets!
