I’ve been doing DoorDash for almost a month and considering the amount of gas and the substantial wear on my car the money is definitely not worth it. Plus I constantly get small ass orders. Today(a Friday) I worked from 10am to after midnight and I made $160. 👎

Honestly depends on how many orders and how long the work day was. In my honest opinion iv heard these kinda jobs don't pay a lot. So I'm skeptical that this dude is making 5 grand a month. And I don't not know where your getting oil changes but it definitely shouldn't be 60 dollars. I pay like 20$ for oil change. Things in this short seem off and not true. Thats just me but like I said before seems too good to be true.

That’s 50k miles a year on that car. Better be putting back for a replacement because you MIGHT get 4-5 years out of it. Also.. be careful with your insurance coverage. Technically it’s a commercial enterprise, so regular insurance may not cover you in an accident.

My car gets better gas mileage in the city since it’s a hybrid… you should definitely consider the vehicle type that you’ve got before starting to even consider doing door dash and Uber eats.

And when it takes you out of the zone for doordash and you have to drive back in, do you count that too?

1) how are you only spending $25 in gas ?? I have a hybrid Toyota Camry 2016 and easy double that .. especially if your doing 60 hours a week … that’s 12 hours 5 days a week … there’s no way your only spending $25 a day in gas.. 2) also how are you doing 12 hours daily going up to 60 hours and your only averaging $1500 a week … I mean $1500 is pretty damn good but not for 60 hours in a week … I make on average doing Lyft $1300-$1650 every week and my clocked in time is only 41 hours at highest and that’s using the higher of the hours worked numbers.. rides with a person are 37 hours logged … so your 45% higher in labor making about the same amount as me ? So somethings off here … your 45% higher in labor each week, making about the same amount as me each week BUT have 50% less gas spent which makes absolute bo sense unless you have one of those cars that gets 70+ miles per gallon….O AND FINALLY you do 12 hour days and only drive 125 miles a day ,? Even 8 hour days 6 days a week there’s NO WAY your driving only 125 miles and on top of that pulling in $1500 a week … there’s no way unless you get 8 rides a day and every single ride is $30-$40 and that’s it …
