Fun fact about the Stanford Marshmallow Experiment! The experiment was re-conducted a few years later, where they kept the entire procedure the exact same as before, except now they noted the financial and social backgrounds that the children came from. What they observed was that poor kids & kids of colour who came from less fortunate social backgrounds (like divorce, orphanages, etc) tended to eat the marshmallow in the first round a lot more than the privileged kids, because their entire life they had dealt with such awful circumstances, they felt subconsciously insecure in regards to food. Ever wonder how that applies to studying, and life in general, y'all? 👀

Im definitely not telling you to sacrifice those things for studying. Im saying you should sacrifice micro things, such as scrolling, etc for your GOAL. And what your goal is is up to you. If your goal is to study, you have to sacrifice some things to make time for studying. Same as you have to sacrifice junk food if you goal is the physique. But if you dont sacrifice things for you goal, the goal will become the sacrifice
