@@GuestInMyOwnCountry I bought them first because the opportunity was there to do so and I didn’t want to miss out on them. If the chassis needs replacing then I’ll replace it. So the headlights being bought first is also irrelevant 😅

@@GuestInMyOwnCountry it’s different on this, you have a carbon tub and front and rear subframes. So worst case the subframe can be replaced. But the tub isn’t damaged (it wouldn’t twist it would crack)

My guess was 30-40k, I didn't think you would of taken the risk if it was anymore, your a smart man and been doing this long enough to know it's going to cost you at least that much again to fix it. Can see you being around 90-100k deep by the time it's all done. If you can get it done for 100k or less then you've done well and imo it'll be worth it 100%. You would of made some good content from it, which would of made you some money and hopefully brought in some new subscribers. I enjoy watching you work on the more normal stuff but it's also cool to see you doing something different.

Check your demist vents on your dash for glass with Hoover before windscreen goes in. Had a windscreen installed turned on fan and got covered in glass!!

Those are some insanely expensive support brackets. I'd be talking to the guys at Bad Obsession. They know a thing or two about fabricating brackets! Use the new ones as templates, pay BOM to copy them, and then return the originals.

Hiya Dean, I watched Salvage rebuilds uk last week, they used an Airbag company who actually remove the dash and refit it when bags have been reset. Just a thought for future.

Yeah I’m using the same company but I’m not lazy and I’ll do it myself…. 😉 I joke haha but I want to do everything on this myself. Couldn’t handle repairing the whole car and then no doing the dash 😂.. but they may be coming to do the Q4 interior so we will see 🙌🏼
