Excellent job. One thing I noticed is that that the nearside front door seemed darker than the skll. Could it be that that door has been blown in at some point and is in fact the issue with contrast? The bonnet looked to be a fair match. Either way, great job and a great bargain. I shall look forward to your review.

Its the angles, door to wing always looks the worst. I can't see any evidence of the door being sprayed before 👍👍

I also have a 68 plate Tekna in same colour , someone bumped into the front last year and the repair cost was £3000 ( other drivers insurance ). Lovely car with all the extras too .

I have looked around and similar spec cars are around 9k. You can get cheaper if the miles are higher and lower spec.

I'd agree. The least you might expect to get a nice low mileage Leaf of this age, would be £8k to £9k plus.....possibly slightly more. And that would would probably be a private sale, not a dealer.

Have you made sure that new number plate has the makers name and address on it or it could be illegal, some peo0le have been fined for that after replacing their plate for one they bought off ebay or amazon.

I can't remember the last time I drove in dense fog. They are fantastic on dark country lanes though as they light up the bankings either side 👍

@@grouchthatbarx I did the same, for the same reason; then I hit dense fog on my way to Yeovil, Somerset one night, and ended up crawling along at 20 mph, because I couldnt see anything; I even came off at the wrong M5 junction because I couldnt read the signs.

They came up with £7.7k - but that is not what one would expect to pay for it. There would be another couple of grand stuck on the top, at least, I expect! So your motor represents very good value, I suggest. A good job well done.
