Do you replace the crush washer when you replace the oil? I just learned that last year that the crush washer should be replaced every oil change. Obviously it isn't super risky if you don't but they are cheap and now I put a new one on every time. Because I will be the one in a million that has a leak from a twice used crush washer. 😆 🤣

@@junit483 I had a 2018 that I put a rollback unit on, and the best numbers we got out of a tune was right at 353 HP/357 lbs of torque. It's just depends on the what's been done before, by the original owners and how they treated the truck. From it's appearance, it looks like it was tooken really good care of. Plus the 100,000 miles is practically just getting it broken in. He's probably going to have years of enjoyable and dependable usage out of it, especially how knowledgeable he is on taking care of them the proper way.

I’m so happy for y’all, it’s great to see you get a nice reliable set up. No one deserves it more. Just a small piece of advice, when you hook your safety chains cross them under the hitch, that way if something goes sideways the chains will cradle the trailer instead of dropping it to the ground.

Your new new truck has nearly everything a truck needs. It has an 'Oh, hello officer' over the bed to get you INTO trouble, and 4-low to get you OUT of trouble. The only thing it could possibly need is a chrome or black 'Tree? What tree?' bolted onto the front to keep its nose straight and pretty. And that trailer is as awesome as an 80s movie theme song. I had a solid sided canopy on my truck for a while and in traffic it is a pain, a good glass shop can put in a few few flush mount windows on each side to greatly improve visibility, especially important with a trailer behind!

Great video yall. Love the truck. For the record I run rotella t4-t6 in everything! Trucks, Race cars, Hotrods, Tractors, Lawnmowers, 4 wheelers, golf carts....never had a oil related failure. The diesel oil has more detergent than regular oil also so it keeps your engine cleaner. I've been sold on rotella since I was 18

Dear Sleeperdude family 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! Congrats for purchasing this new used beast of a pickup truck. Congrats too for purchasing the new and longer trailer. You cleaned the truck really, really well, it looks almost brand new now. So please kindly consider to dent out the whisky dent in the rear bumper. After all one of you is a very qualified body repair man. 😁 ;-) 2) Please kindly consider to put a good, sticky/oily undercoating on the truck. There is already some surface rust showing and winter is coming. For instance Mustie1 uses a mixture made of kerosene and chain saw chain oil with extremely good results. 3) I don't know if I could see it correctly but I guess, the trailer hitch is sitting a little bit too high for the new trailer. At least if the trailer is not loaded. 4) I was really glad to see that WaWa's broken finger has already healed. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. I saw a neat trick where you first punch a hole in the bottom of the oil filter. Let it drain for a couple of minutes and then when you take it off, you don't get oil all over your hands. Maybe try it out on your next oil change.

When I looked for a 'camper top' for my '03 Tundra the most impotant feature was a three way access, no windows cap. So here you are excited to have found your perfect fit for a replacement truck with a bed cap of the same style three door access, HooYeah! My BFF helped me to install the cap that actually was to narrow to fit my Tundra's bed rails but with some modifications including some Home Depot hardware we together were able to get tne cap secured.

Congrats on the new truck! Nice tips on checking out vehicles to buy too! Got to tell you about heat/defrost in old vehicles. I replaced the fan and heating core in a 94 Voyager. New OEM fan and aftermarket heater core (2x thicker than the original core). The change was crazy good! Air moved great and the heat was so good we would only set it to about medium for the middle of winter (up here in the NE, that say a lot!).

Congratulations on your new pickup. It should fill your towing and family needs quite well. I know these newer vehicles recommend 7 to 8,000.0 miles per change but I have always changed my oils in my cars every 2,000.0 miles with filter and use Valvoline 10W40 year round. My oldest wagon the 1987 Crown Victoria has 246,000.0 miles on it and does not burn or leak any oil. A few years ago I had Bundy Motors replace the oil pan due to the old one having a large hole in it and after they dropped the pan five mechanics were looking up at the inside of the engine and could not believe how clean it was inside. Changing your oil frequently pays off in the long haul.
