It's for sure more than just credit, DTI is REALLY important. Income is REALLY important, length of your credit history too. How old your credit is, how you pay your bills..A LOT. You are right on point though with credit unions, they tend to give better rates. But if you have REALLY established credit, you can get 2% or less with banks. I do. You are doing good young brotha, I'm happy for you...and I celebrate with you for grinding hard. It's good to see people winning, and enjoying their lives. I tell people, work hard while you are young...GRIND hard, you will thank yourself later on in life if you make the right choices. You seem to be smart for your age, and doing things correctly. @@ChrisA-gb5yi They are most definitely reliable. I drive mine pretty hard and I’ve yet to have any major issues. As long as you stay on top of maintenance it should be pretty much indestructible. It’s pretty quick for what it is.

Your down-payment will determine your monthly. If you out down around 16-18k your payments would've been around 300 a month. 700 is a little high. Thats around the amount you could pay for a ZL1 monthly if you put a decent downpayment.

Correct. I prefer to keep my $16-$18k in cash for emergencies and just pay the higher note especially if I have a low interest rate.

Hey man I got a pretty low credit score due to a past loan not being paid off yet . Not gonna get too into depth into it over comments but if you could point me in a good direction would help a ton . I know I should pay it off and I plan on it . I would be trying to put down about 60% and finance say another 10k I’ll be turning 21 right before I go to finance

What good day definitely play off your long first. That’s my recommendation. Nothing like being debt-free but also it’s gonna depend on the bank. I personally use credit unions and not bank for all my vehicles. You get a better interest rate.

Technically my credit is in its “rebuilding” stage . I’m really not too worried about my interest as I know it’s going to be quite high and I’m willing to bite that bullet. More just concerned of a bank or credit union approving me because of my history .

@vq_phil they might but the interest will likely be high so I recommend fixing credit first use that 10k and pay off debt then as your score improves it’ll cost you less interest and save you a lot more money on the loan
